I always thought my father was born 26th Jan. 1904 but have searched numerous sites for his birth record but without success. on the 1911 census it appears he was born in 1906, but still cannot find any birth record for him. |

You could try for a birth cert from the GRO wihout quoting a GRO ref They will do a 3 years search using parents info etc. Check the GRO site for guidance. |

It may be that his birth record didnt get passed to the GRO Have seen this happen . You could try the Nottingham Registry Office |

I cannot see an Arthur Jarman in the nottingham area in 1911 and that one was born in the right reg qtr for 1906 |
