Trying to find Ballard

bertie(maybe albert) born watford1873. and wife georgina 1875 born wiltshire son william 1900 born willesdon the family are recorded living in stanford le hope essex in 1901 census william later had connections with norwood, gypsie hill, brockely he was also in the army i am searching for any connections however small as i can go no further ,i would realy appreciate any help with this as its proving a real brickwall

This may be a link to my grandfather,who spent much of his life in West Thurrock, Essex. My grandfather was named Percie and there was a brother, who as a child was always known as Bert, and my recollection was of him always wearing a bowler hat!
I seem to remember that there were possibly three or four brothers,possibly involved in the building trade. They built, or so I was told, the properties known as triangle terrace in West Thurrock
My mother and father lived in Stanford-le-Hope for some time before moving to West Thurrock, wwhere I was born
My daughter, Belinda Ballard, living at Ridley near Sevenoaks in Kent has managed to trace a number of Ballards in this line of ancestry.

Might be worth trying Army records for info. They can help if you have a few dates etc .Jean
