I am looking for any info on a Thomas Ball, occ: coal miner? He had five children, Robert Ball, b 29 oct 1910, Arthur Ball, b?, Thomas? (unsure if this is his name)Ball, Rhoda Ball and Hilda Carr nee Ball. As far as i know they lived in and around Ashington, Northumberland or somewhere in Durham close to border. Robert Ball (my grandfather) was also a coal miner then joined the airforce in WWII as ground crew. Thomas Ball died from blacklung (coal miners condition) and I dont have any idea what his wifes name was. Any info would be most appreciated. |
