JANE ELIZABETH BAKER (my grandmother) married EDWIN JAMES GILES on 1 Jan 1913 at St Michael's Church, Stoke Newington Common, London. The marriage certificate states that she was 24 years old, living at 113 Brooke Road and the daughter of FRANCIS BAKER (Meat Salesman). I know very little about my grandmother other than the fact that later on in her life she ran a boarding house/hotel on the Isle of Wight. I would be interested in tracing the BAKER line and grateful for anyone out there who may be able to offer me some clues. |
