May have had siblings Lizzie and Percy and parents Thomas Baines & Elizabeth. Thomas was the lock keeper at Hoole Lane Lock. Any info sharing would really help as I am stuck on this part of the family. |

Thanks to all the help from the volunteers i have made great progress with John's father and hence all his family but am now getting nowhere with johns wifes family. her name i am told by a family member was mary ellen jones and this was confirmed by marriage records. again from info from family member she may have had sisters sissy and ellen and a brother called clifford stuart but not sure why he may have a different surname. I think she was born in chester in about 1883. any help would be really appreciated as i have tried all i can think of. |

To make any progress here, I think we must know her dad's name (and occup, if given) from her m.cert - there's a couple of dozen Mary Ellen Jones's born every year. |

I too found her on the 1911 census but by that time she was married so no clue as to her family as she was living with her husband and his dad. |
