Hi Paige

Are these three families interlinked? If not, I think you would do better with three threads - one for each. But not if they are interliked. And if they are, could you tell us how?

You said you had marriage details, can you please post them? Did they agree with Ellie's find?

Meg

quick update:

I still need info on the Austin branch.

The Boner branch has moved on a bit and although I still cannot find the birth records of John Boner, I now know that the name was anglicised from Boni and John's father, Marco, came from Picinisco. I have traced a whole heap of siblings and their descendants and John's sister, Christina, married into the Baccino family who later became the Butchers.

Still stuck on Thomas Harris and until I win the lottery and can buy all of the birth certs for the Thomas Harris's born in the relevant timescale, I can't see me heading any further back with that one!

Offer of sharing tree and info still stands, Paige.

Hi,
I have the disc's for nottingham and there is a John Cecil Bowmer baptised 1882 son of Arthur George Bowmer and Clara. Just a long shot for you. Arthur George isn't very Italian sounding!!!

The Austin family moved from Bristol to Liverpool in approximately 1900-1910. I am looking for details of Thomas Warren Austin and his father Samuel Austin. I have marriage dates for both but no birth or death details. Samuel Austin in particular is a mystery - he was in the Merchant Navy and I'm assuming he died at sea or posted overseas.

The Boner family is proving quite difficult. They are supposed to have emigrated to the UK from the Bay of Naples in Italy in the late 1800's / early 1900's. I have gone back as far as John Boner who was in Liverpool aged 19 on the 1901 census. It states his birthplace as Nottingham. I have been unable to find his birth details and am wondering if this is when the name was Anglicised from Bonacalini or Bonacanelli (forgive the spellings!)

The Harris family (as far as I can tell) have lived in Liverpool for a long time. The trail goes cold due to the fact that there were about a billion Thomas Harris's born in 1854-6 and I have no idea which one is the right one.

Feel free to request permission to access my family tree and I will be glad to share information when and where I can.
