Trying to find Armitage

My name is Matt Armitage and i am trying to trace my family tree. I know my grandfather Joe( Joseph) Armitage, born Huddersfield 1868 was the youngest of 12 children. It would be great if anyone new his brothers and sisters. I know one brother emigrated to Australia in the early 1900's. Joe Armitage owned a store on Leeds market next Marks and Spencers and went on to own a Taylors store on Beeston Hill in Leeds with his young Wife Francis Ada. This burnt down and they moved to Scarborough in 1932. If anyone has any information about this branch of the Armitage family I would be very grateful

Matthew,

I have some josephs in my tree and the oldest is born in 1844 and another in 1883, might have something in common as they were from the Yorkshire area. If you want to take a look and let me know.

Paul Armitage.
