Mark Amos
Im trying to find any relatives of my father Michael Albert Amos (born 1937 & married Marion Martin in 1959) who comes from Bexleyheath. They lived just behind the Broadway possibly in Enthonvi Road. His father died when he was young and his mother (who remarried) ran a paper/sweat shop on the Broadway. The only other information i have is that I have a cousin who is 46+ and that they knew the Cooper family (as in Henry Cooper the boxer and his brother) whos family garden I believe backed onto my grandmothers house.

Is this your father's death details Michael Amos born 29.01.1937 died at Gravesend, Kent age 61 in 1998.

Thank you unfortunately to family rifts I have no links to the Amos family. I have found a record of Albert F Amos who was in the Green Howards and died in 1942 but dont know if this would be my grandfather or not

Have been trying to find the marriage of Amos/Orchard and have got back to 1932 but Ancestry will not let me look anymore if no one finds it for you I will look later. Irene

Found the marriage of Albert E Amos/Violet G Orchard at Dartford Sept 1929. A copy of that marriage certificate should help you. Good luck Irene
