Can anyone trace lost Alfred Frankton ( birth ref. Solihull DEC.1858 6d 409)...?.Son of William& Ann Frankton of Rugby & later Solihull area's of Warwickshire.Can't find marriage or death for him..Please note: he is NOT the Alfred born Rugby 1857 who married Eliza Kenney in 1877 & died 1907 age50.He is also NOT mistranscribed as John Alfred Frankton ,born Coventry 1860,married1881 & died 1891,age 30...I am at a loss now..can any "detectives" out there "find" him for me ?..Thanks !! ( he is with parents on 1861 & 1871 census' )

If you or anyone else cant find a marriage for him it could be that he didnt marry and so could be anyone of the Alfreds with any women on the census's!

this could be true Ginny...but Frankton not a very common name in UK,thought he might show-up somewhere( perhap's he emigrated ? ).....this death of other Alfred (in my posting,above)

Ive had a look on emmigration and cant find anything....stowaway? It did happen!

He could well have. I looked for a relative for ages and hadnt thought looking past a certain date..he died in 1912 age 97!

mind you, he does not show-up on 1881 or 1911 census',i don't have access to 1901--but i bet he's absent on there aswell...so my thinking is still that he has died between 1871--1881

(On the 1871 UK census he was an apprentice bellow maker with his brother Alfred). On the 1900 USA census states he went to New York in 1875.

The wife of Alfred is Eliza Kenney but I think you have ruled that one out..not sure why?

The tree also shows Edwin arriving back to the UK 1902. If hes like my family they were back and forwards all the time!
