Hi, I have been searching for the above, Henry Isaac Abbott (also called himself "Harry") born 4th June 1893 in Mile End Old Town, London. His birth certificate states he was born at 115 Devonshire Street, Mile End however I have looked at census in 1901 and not there. He did tell my dad that he went into Barnardos as a child and we have searched for him there but no success. His parents were Alice (nee Shell) and Henry Abbott but I can find no record of their marriage by searching online as am not aware of date of marriage or where they came from/lived. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
