Member Since: January 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	I' m trying to find more information about my Emmott family who lived in the Shipley area of West Yorkshire. ARTHUR(my grandfather) married MARGARET LAWS. Their children were Allan,Katherine and Ernest (my father). My great Grandparents were JAMES EMMOTT(1839 -born in Morton, Bingley) and ELIZABETH(1844- born in Skipton), whose children were FRED(1866), BEN(1867), CHARLEY(1869), ARTHUR(1873) and MATILDA(1875) all born in Windhill, Shipley.
