years ago they accidentally buried folk thinking they were dead. They decided to attach a bell on a string from the coffin to the top and employed men to sit overnight by the grave to listen for the bell !!

Hence..... The Graveyard Shift

Tannery's used to soak the skins in urine. Hard up families used to save theirs through the day and night , then sell it to the tannery.

Hence the saying..... P*.ss poor !!!!

Daughter keeps calling me mobile from her pocket by mistake :-0 :-0 Just got through to her to tell her...and she is a wee bit worried about an elderly person in Sainsbury...confused..who is about to walk home with her shopping cos it's nearly dark here.....the person in question had been chatting to V repeating the same sentence over and over...have told her to get a member of staff before she offers to take her home...they may know her circumstances as its a small local Sainsburys :-(
