Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

We did at one time exchange some pms when I posted about my hubby

A very kind lady .we didn't meet but she was very kind to me

She worked so hard to spread an awareness of SADS.

Wasn't she involved with the Gaynor Bear relay all those years ago too?

I think there is some confusion here. Jenny involved with Gaynor Bear was Mommylonglegs but Gillian Jennifer was a different lady. She never got over the dreadful, sudden loss of her Stephen, and I think she had also lost a grandson to the same illness, as well as one of her sons having to have treatment to prevent his death from it.

I am really shocked and saddened to learn of her passing and can only send my deepest sympathy to her family and loved ones.

Rest in peace, Gillan Jennifer, reunited with those you missed so much. Such a brave, caring lady

To clarify Liz, I am aware of the difference and have not confused the two, but I am almost sure Gillian jennifer was involved with Gaynor bear.
