Very sad news for all of us. A lovely lady who loved to help others with their research.

I've sat and read all my Facebook messages going back to 2011 where Gwen has shared her wealth of information to help with my family tree.

The world has lost a wonderful and generous woman today.

May you RIP Dizzi and you will be sadly missed.

I went everyday onto her thread Roll Call and laughed at all her antics. She tried so hard to stay positive. The last 2 days she had a mobility scooter and was enjoying going out. She wanted to stay mobile as long as possible.

I am so shocked but at least she was having fun the last couple of days.

Oh Dizzi we'll miss you and your threads, you touched so many lives. Out of pain now, RIP.

Oh my goodness what a shock to see this

I met Gwen at several London meets and she was a zany lady who loved to laugh.

She was so pleased to have got her mobility scooter and enjoyed her test run and was looking forward to getting out on it

She had said she wasnt feeling too good too in the last few days but to see she has passed is such a shock

You will be missed Dizzi , RIP dear lady

Reading this was a shock, I never met Gwen but we shared some thoughts, I sent her some colouring pencils that I had, and she sent me a lovely drawing she did, such talent , I always enjoyed reading her posts, and was pleased to hear all her news, rest in peace lovely brave lady you will be missed so much . condolences to the family...

Oh this is a shock.

She was really down just over a week ago and when she got her mobility scooter,I thought she would feel much better getting about more.

She has been very brave and retained her sense of humour ,even though she has been suffering with PD for a few years....

Purple has just reminded me of her old board name of Dragonfly.
She is out of pain now..but this seemed so sudden.

So sad to read this. Dizzi was like an institution on these boards and she will be sorely missed bless her.

Although I did not know Dizzi as well as other members did, I feel that this sums her up in some small way.

Oh my goodness! As so many other posters have said, it's such a shock.
She'd posted about her various health problems, but nothing to suggest that this would happen.

Her family must be devastated. My thoughts and sympathy to them. <3

I saw this news on FB, what a shock! I met Dizzi at a mutual friend's wedding and yes she was funny...we had a battle with the sticks. Condolences to her family.
