I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN LOOKING IN TO THE MABEL YATES HISTORY. I HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION ON HER WHICH IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED WHEN SHE WAS MABEL BROWN CAN BE FOUND IN THE BOOK CALLED "THORESBY TO TORRINGTON" THE STORY OF HARRY BROWN BY VALERIE STERN. UNFORTUNATELY I STILL CANNOT TRACE THE DEATH OF HER HUSBAND ROBERT YATES SENIOR. I AM WONDERING IF HE DIED AT SEA, MABEL DIED IN CROSBY IN 1942. THEY WERE MY GRAND PARENTS I ONLY MET MABEL. I WAS BORN IN 1934 SO HE MUST HAVE DIED BEFORE THEN.
SORRY HAVE NOT BEEN IN TOUCH SOONER BUT I AM NOW 82 AND DONT USE COMPUTER AS MUCH IN FACT THIS WILL BE MY LAST YEAR IN GENES REUNITED.

Did Robert have any other names? I can't find a marriage for Robert and Mabel so thought that Robert could have been a middle name and his death could be under another name.
