Does anyone know anything about fold3?

ArgyllGran Report 17 May 2020 11:08

Just Google it:

"Fold3 features premier collections of original military records. These records include the stories, photos, and personal documents of the men and women who served in the military. Many of the records come from the U.S. National archives, The National Archives of the U.K. and other international records. "

Many army records on Ancestry are only viewable if you have an additional sub to Fold3. You can sign up for a sub either direct on the Fold3 website, or by following the link on Ancestry when you've found a record you want to see.

Fold3 offers a 7-day free trial period - there's a link to that on the Fold3 link I posted above.
