Oops......... now have my knickers in a twist.......

when I mentioned sane persons I was referring to TV bringing on sane persons to discuss this delicate subject...

not some jumped up politician or money grabbing maniac who would not know their arse from their elbow or even pain in their pubic hairs. lol.

Reckon I had better shut up and get off this thread before I am hung, drawn and quartered.

Love you all.

NO PANICKING YOU GUYS, OKAY.

Breaking news this morning being, pills for anxiety/depression do not work ....

But when you get a professional person discussing the to's and fro's a different picture emerges....this person was live on TV following the announcement...
and actually discussing the individual person and reactions to such drugs...

take me for instance.. aspirin does not work for me whereby 99.99% of the population it does work for.....

I know you will be glued to your chairs, and who wouldn't be, when you listen to this news announcement. I will be listening with you all and hope many sane persons will discuss this subject in full and with the the sensitivity needed...

Love you all,

Gail I'll get hubby to make one for me as I get confused. I counted them while having some toast and I take 21 a day, that's counting 5 chemo in morning and 5 at teatime, and not counting any nuerofen I take when It gets bad. I was a bit annoyed last time I saw oncologist, it wasn't my own but one I dislike intensley, I asked him how long I would be on the chemo, his answer was 'as long as it takes'. I also asked him if the itchy skin had anything to do with it, his answer was it could be. My hubby looked at my face and thought I would either explode or walk out, couldn't walk out quick enough so decided not to ask any more questions. This is the second person in all my life I clash with, pity he could be my lifesaver isn't it.

How on earth do you cope with the brown ones, how fast can they move? I'd have no chance so I think I will stay where I am. just seen the time, I am supposed to finish eating something by 6 to have chemo tabs at half past, I'm never going to manage all these tablets and their timings, it's ridiculous trying. And no I can't take them together as they won't work I've been told. Going to have to make a chart aren't I. Like a school timetable.

Morning Gail, I thought I hadn't seen you, hope you pick up soon. Fm is fibromyalga,(sp) I had asked last week if anyone knew the symptoms I described, Liz said to check it out, never got round to googling it but went to docs instead. It is painful muscles and very tender spots certain places when touched, He asked me if it was both sides of body, ie both elbows both shoulders both hips etc, when I said yes he was almost certain I have it. Don't know much more about it as it's new to me, but I could do without it lol. See, another use for this thread.
I would hate the snakes, I would never go out of the house if I lived there, can't be doing with them.
Hope you both get better soon and back to normaml.

Morning Liz, I'm so glad I asked if anyone knew my new symptoms, otherwise it would have been another few weeks maybe before I saw doc. He said I described fm exactly, he is almost sure I have it now, what more can be thrown at me. My blood pressure was up as well so I have to have that checked next week, I am already on tabs for high blood pressure and it usually keeps it level.
He also changed my Citalopram as it was clashing with one of my other tablets for leg spasms, making it worse. I'm back on Fluxatine (sp) now.He said my black out might have been caused by anxiety and depression as fm can cause it. Don't know when I see rhuematologist yet but when we got back home yesterday there was a message on answer machine from doctors asking me to ring them regarding my visit yesterday.
Hi Mary, I wondered where you and Gail had got to, did you get more snow last night?.
Hello to everyone else and to those I haven't welcomed I do read but somehow never have time these days to answer, it's you lot on here pm and e-mailing me I love it.

Could have sworn I added a brief message this afternoon but must be losing my marbles lol

Glad you seem to have a diagnosis Caz, so you know what you are up against, altho not an easy illness to treat unfortunately, but it will stop you wondering what the aches and pains are. Stay off the aspartame, I am sure that is what started mine off with the carbonated fruit water I was drinking so much of, thinking I was helping my kidneys flush out that stupid stone! Of course I didn't realise at the time what aspartame can do and it is in so much stuff, some nice sounding yogourt desserts o.h. got today and I can't/won't touch them cos they have asp. in.

Take care everyone, stay resolved and let's all keep taking the tablets lol
love and hugs

mary that was sad but at the same time wounderful the fact that no blame was put on the driver and the two family's have each other each knowing what the other is going through and I bet not on person who attended will forget and they will all be safer driver's and that's a wounderful gift the girl's have given them.

Oh CAZ I hope the rheumatologist will be able to give you some relief.
We have lost almost all the snow, the sun was out briefly, but overcast again now, more snow predicted overnight tonight.
Saw a very sad thing this morning. I pick up the 2 grandchildren from school to take to their autism therapy for the afternoon, and was stopped by flashing car lights, the police were stopping all traffic to allow a funeral procession to go through, en route to the cemetary. After 10 minutes and a continuous stream of cars filing by (most driven by young people) plus 4 large school buses, I realised this was the funeral for 2 teenage girls who were killed last Wednesday/Thursday, in an awful crash in Niagara-on-the -lake. These 2 had been best friends for most of their 17 years, the passenger died instantly and the driver died about 12 hours later. Going a little too fast, hit ice on the road, ended up round a huge tree.. Their families decided to have a joint funeral as they shared so many friends. There must have been over 400 cars in the procession, plus the school buses. despite the long wait, not one driver honked their horn, they all sat quietly out of respect. So sad.
Have to leave for work, good day everyone, my internet is back .
