Wakey, wakey all you sleepy heads xxxxxxxxxxxxx or just maybe you have all jumped into your cars and disappeared for the Easter hols !!!!!!!!!!!!.

Sorry to disappoint a few of you but I have yet to finalised my plans for revenge...just watch this space though..lol.

A little update on Wednesday's computer learning course which I forgot to mention... because I was a 'pretender' I had to play innocent and hit all the wrong keys (luckily pooters do not blow up) lol.
an adviser tutted at me and told me to listen a little more to instructions given...I almost told her where to tut off to!!!!!!!!!!!
There was another chap who was told to go home and practise aiming his arrow at dead centre otherwise nothing would open up.......well you can imagine how 'blue' the air got and the poor tutor ended up so embarrassed, again!!!!!!!!

Maybe it is just me but I find that one does not have to be young, active, fit or even rich to get enjoyment from life...I tend to see the funny side of situations, some people think I am barmy, so what.....

As for yesterday, wow, I took a big step forward.... apart from visiting doctors, clinics and hospitals I actually went into a SHOP..the first time in nearly three years.. one of my neighbours kindly offered to drive me to our local high street, escort me into and around this shop where I ended up buying not one but 8 items of clothing for my daughter who deserved a treat, bless her..

After leaving this shop my neighbour propped me against the railings of a pedestrian crossing whilst she went into a post office.....there I stood, watching the world go by... talk about being in the fast lane, cars were racing past, people jostling, traffic wardens and children crying... a totally different world to the one I am used yet so nice to be part of the human race once again..does not take much to please me...

Am about to take a shower, have some breakfast and decide what to do with the rest of my day. maybe I will go shopping again, ha, ha..

Carole, sorry missed your post before. Are you in a large enough firm to have a welfare officer? If so can you explain that your problem is a medical one and that you wont cope with a bus? Maybe they could make an exception and let you use your car.

Oh Ann and Caz....you missed me.. isn't it nice to be loved... now why would I be getting up to mischief, me a meek and mild soul who would not hurt a fly..... all I can say is WATCH out because Joyce IS about and making preparations for whooppee....you will just have to wait a little longer though for the EXPLOSION...

Right, now down to serious business.. yesterday was a strange day, mainly because of the death of Just Joyce and all the postings from everyone who loved her... strange in the sense that it was almost like reading my own obituary...as some of you know I am very apprehension right now about what my future might hold....enough of that kind of talk, right......

As some of you might have read I attended a learner computer seminar yesterday morning, just making up the numbers for this course to be held..I know I shouldn't laugh at the antics of some of the attendees but one old dear wondered why we had 'mice' in the training room... another one kept demanding cups of tea and actually lit up a cigarette, two were late, and one gentleman when told we would have a brief lesson in English replied 'there is nowt wrong with the way I speak'...laughter followed, by which time the tutor was red faced and ready walk out....just hope next weeks session is as funny. lol................

Then this morning my next door neighbour was found by her DIL.. she had fallen around 5am, was wedged behind a chair, next to a window and head close to the radiator, the poor soul had attempted to get dressed and toppled. She cut her head quite badly and in attempting to keep her face away from the heat she had been moving her head repeatedly and ended up with carpet burns to one side of her face.bless her..

Tis sod's law isn't it that the one morning my daughter did not call in to see me at 6am would be the morning that the fall took place..it would appear that Agnes had been calling out for help..she was taken to hospital and has not returned..just hope she can survive the shock but I know she will. She has outlived two husbands, three children, survived two world wars and is one feisty lady who takes nonsense from no one...she will be 99 this year...how's that for a record.......

Lots more new to impart which I will post tomorrow...in the meantime I wish each and every one of you a settled night, hopefully some sleep as well...

Oh by the way Yrk Caz, thanks for not inviting me to your yummy meal of yesterday.. will have to reconsider if you are a good enough clown now...lol..........

Hope all of you are feeling better, I have spent too long on here as usual so have to do lots of things this evening, including the best bit, phoning Kathy I hope, to catch up before miseryguts gets home. Actually he is fairly ok at the mo, waiting for his form from dvla but I think he feels the pressure is off a bit now. Hope they don't change their minds and make him stop driving now lol He would go bananas, and so would I lol

THEN I fell asleep in front of TV... for two and a half hours!!!

OMG!! I took some nurofen when I was last on and went to bed while my headache calmed down, hubby has got home from work to find me still asleep. I am so sorry, I said I would be back on here for Jenny this afternoon. So glad you were all here for her.
Thing is now I feel rather poorly and have no voice, think I'm in for a cold or something, the one thing I haven't to have or I'm in hospital for duration of it.
I might stay in bed all day tomorrow if I feel like this, but I will be thinking of you all.
Jenny, Well done on getting so much out, you will feel better for it in yourself, do as Liz says and put it all in a book, or copy and paste into word would be easier. All I can say is what the others have already said, you are one strong lady.
Deanna pm me this morning, she was ok, I haven't heard from Joyce yet, wonder what mischief she is planning, lol if your looking Joyce.

Birthday is Tuesday 25, party in on the Saturday 29. Have been printing madly all day. Found :The Flag Of Yorkshire' on the net, so printed that as well.

Havn't been to see MIL this time, I am still recovering from last week. Talk to her on the phone though. She is very cheerful as well. She was very naught when she got home, was suposed to rest, and didn't. Docs are making her stay for a few days to make sure she does rest this time.
