Puss on a serious note, have you ever thought of getting your own scooter? You can customise it with your own mirrors, go-faster stripes and other bits and peices then.

I know a new one is expensive but there are plenty about in the second-hand market, have a look on E-bay.

Will give you a bit more independence too hun xxx

Hi Pus..... I was not ignoring you yesterday. I just did not get back to you..... I was freezing all day.

Yes it does get better with practice, you make your mistakes and then you watch so that you don't do it again.......
PLUS..... my son takes the key away from me if he has to go in a shop without me!!!

Talk about reversed roles??? ;-0(

Hayley I remember laughing at this the first time, do you remember the one where Puss set off on the motorway to visit someone on her scooter? My hubby cried with laughing so much he couldn't finish reading it.

Little Lost

Little Lost Report 4 Jan 2009 08:41

well my mum did finally get a mobility scooter and calls it her mobile. After being stuck indoors or in hospital for months on end I didnt expect her to go out much on it and was prepared to cycle along side her a few times to get her confidence up. BUT when I phoned her just after she got it she said she had been out shopping to morrisons and when she came out of there she just fancied a McDonalds. So she went thru the drive thru bit of mcdonalds on her mobile!!!!! She said she saw the cars queueing up and she didnt want to leave her mobile anywhere so just joined the queue behind the cars.....

Love it Little Lost, I can see many more 'mobile' stories coming up here, another Puss in the making lol.

Thanks Hayley:o)))) ..... l had'nt seen this before, brilliant and typical Puss:o))
Had'nt noticed the date either and was thinking Pusser was back!!! she's missed on here!!

l do remember the motorway one though, oh my god brilliant!!!!
l wonder if GR (ITV) do look at any of the antics on here for future programmes.....these stories should be like a Frank Spencer series, with or without her scooter(she's mad either way), definately with Dickie Duck....where is he by the way??

Hi Jude, I was beginning to think I had imagined the motorway one, it was funnier than the first one and made my stomach ache with laughing, Puss was a gem. I wonder if we could find it again or will it be gone for good now. We could all do with a treat don't you think.
