Just a thought, and maybe a silly one, but....

I wonder if we could ask GR for a general Support board.

Thank you Carol and everyone else.

I think it will evolve with time. I am going to add the research part for those who need help in finding out in more depth about a particular illness.

I hope that if people can share experiences, privately, it will help peeps to be more open about what they are worried out (if that makes sense).

I would be willing to be here for bereavement –
Grandson died aged 3... 12yrs ago...encephalitis/Meningitis
Mum had a stroke & died 6months later (earlier this year) – so would have empathy with anyone in the same circumstances.
Am actually a Qualified Nursery Nurse with experience in coping with very premature babies... my youngest Grandson was born at 24 weeks...

Lol. I sound as if I am filling out a job application!

Hi Sue - list looks fine and what wonderful support - as long as people looking in realise we are prepared to offer a sympathetic ear or shoulder to cry on and maybe share what we know about a family member within our "subject" Jx

Deanna,

This is the first draft, after that if I can then encourage people who don't want to put their problems on the board they can pm the contact who would be most appropriate for advice.

I am still trying to work out how to prep the post on word but trying to get the pm link to work in the thread!

I am not sure what you would like us to do Sue??

would it be okay if we just waited until we were needed?
