Thank you M&M and Pinks.....they did come up with the name Lily.....I am glad they did not use that though, because my Aunt Lily was a bit of a naughty girl for her time.....quite a handful by all accounts, so Evie will suit her well.....

Yes Polly, when my daughter said that Charlie might be out tomorrow I thought that was early.....but apparently if all goes OK they let them out within hours of the birth......it does seem a bit too soon for me, but I suppose it could be because she is not new to babies etc.....

what a difference a day makes....

Small Penny?....I admire anyone that produces a baby bigger than 6lb.....makes your eyes water....lol....I have bought a litle white jacket with hood trimmedwith white fur and sparkly pink fairies and flowers on....

Thanks Tina Marie.....my other daughter in law wanted Eva if she had a girl, but Charlie got there first.....lol

Hey Jude.....snap.....Eva Mae and Evie Mia.....it is the latest modern name I think....they already have Ellie May and Tegan Elizabeth.....

Ta for the poem Lynn......your turn soon.....can't wait for that one.....your first grandbaby....

I have just spoken to Charlie's Mum .... and she says that Charlie and the baby may be discharged in time for Ellie coming home from school at 3pm this afternoon........I can hardly believe it!.....and Steve with his paternity leave as well......

Little Girls

Author: Karen Barnes

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs
And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow
And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls
And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,
And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.
