General Chat

I agree with you Linda RSJ, I feel the same about the General board these days.

In my opinion many of the threads on General are better suited to 'Chat' as that's what they are - people wanting a chat with their mates. Nothing wrong with that, except that those type of threads knock the more serious/sane commentaries off the first few pages because there are SO many of them!!!

I'm so sad that Dee has left but I'm not surprised.

I've said elsewhere that times have moved on and there isn't really a place for some of us any more.

and Joan's bit about baths too pmsl (I'm off for one myself in a minute, but don't feel the need to post a thread about it - who would care?!)

I have loads of things I could post, but I always think "would I be interested if someone else posted" and "will anyone reply" - the answer is usually no, so I don't bother!

oh and the other thing I don't like is when one person posts over and over again for effect but without any content (if you see what I mean), again this pushes other people down the pages, very selfish I think!

Anyway, just my opinion :-)
