Bec, You'll have to curb your enthusiasm until large areas of seating are safely roped off and warning signs about wet floors are distributed where everyone can fall over them! CB >|<

They used to be good value for money years ago when I was travelling on business a lot. Over the past few years they've got pricey and we avoid them.

CB, LMAO. Yes, at last, I've found someone willing not to diss Little Chef!! Or was that a note of sarcasm, I detected? LOL

Little Chef giving up? Good. Slow service, Small portions of indifferently cooked food, Extortionate prices. The founder of the chain must be spinning in his grave. And as for being expected to stand at the Wait Here sign for 5 minutes looking at an almost empty dining area while the staff skilfully ignore you.. I walk out.

Bec, Better check with the management - I'm no Delia Smith! How about this for a sample menu - Lard soup Black pudding salad Mushy peas in a basket Yorkshire pudding surprise (it's got currants in it) Deep fried Mars Bars (with custard - one lump or two) Alternative main courses - Edwina Curry with chips. Coronation Street chicken Toad in Hetton-le-Hole Breakfast specials - Oat cuisine (lumpy porridge) Toast and lard Haggis on toast Southern branches only - Jellied eel soup Blackfriars fish & chips Whelk pie (shell-on) & mash West Ham sandwiches Strawberry Hill & ice cream Peaches & Cheam Chelsea buns CB >|<

Bec, Yep - one teabag a day should do. Just tie it on a piece of string attached to the the urn, then show it to a cup of hot water. Don't forget to put plenty of dead flies in the sugar bowls! CB >|< X
