Jenny, I've only just noticed your expression of panic at the thought of a night out in Tynemouth with Kim and me. Don't believe what you've heard - it's all in the mind, honest! However, I solemnly promise I shall behave myself (with crossed fingers behind my back). Well, just a bit anyway, but only if anyone's looking - OK? ;>) LMHO CB >|< XX |

Ok then .... Marie the Mad Scot.... she is fantastic, dont get me started on her or I'll be here all day. I Love her to bits and consider her to be one of my very best friends. She is kind and trustworthy and honest, straight to the point and scared of no-one. If she likes you then you have a friend for life and if she doesnt then she'll tell you... LOL..... but she likes everyone who is worth liking. (psst marie was that ok hen can I have the cheque now) Sue H is another truly lovely girl, oor wee honourary Scot, another one with a heart of gold.... a great friend. Jill Price.... a Wee Lassie with a Huge personality, Jill can brighten any party,,, I do worry about her obsession with Francis Rossi look a likes though.... LOL Anna a nice girl, quiet... but only coz she couldnt get a word past Jill.... LOL... would like to meet Anna again. Lizzie is also Lovely as is Judith whom I have also met although I didnt get a chance to talk to them much. Shaz xx |

Have now met loads of people from Genes and can honestly say that I haven't disliked anyone! First person I met was Dee from Bexleyheath who is as mad as a brush, and everyone else is pretty much the same!! Looking forward to meeting some new faces at the London picnic (details TBA - watch this space!) Maz. XX |

The first GR member I met was Kim from Sandhurst. She stayed the night in B*B in Tynemouth, met me from work, came back to my house and then we went out for a meal and drink. She is a lovely down to earth person. Not as quiet as me but we got on very well. Have kept in touch and cannot wait to meet her again at the Geordie Meet up on April 23rd. Well actually it looks like me, Kim and C. B. are meeting up the night before for a night out in Tynemouth. OMG HELP ME!!!!!Going to try and persuede Grandpa Jim to stay in Tynemouth also. With good intentions of giving him a good time. LOL. Went to the Wakefield Meet in November. Ann from Darlington, (sorry she has to be my favourite,) is a fantastic lady. Met Paul and Sheila Wray a lovely couple, again very down to earth, and so full of fun. June and her daughter Gaynor. June has lovely sparkling eyes and Gaynor so full of fun. Louise from Leicester very quiet like me. The three Sue's they know who they are. Such a laugh. Another lady who was very nice but cannot remember her name. Not forgetting Keith (Red Dragon)who kindly gave us a lift to the railway station in his lovely new car. Plus all those that I have forgotton to mention that were at the Wakefield meet. Jenny. |

I have only met a few, but can honestly say none have been a disapointment. Val from Exeter is mad as a hatter, makes me laugh a lot Maz from cornwall is so warm and friendly I don't think any one could not like her. Waveyone is also a really nice lady and so sinsear (spelling) BBDoll is warm and weloming, a pleasure to meet. Jan chatted (when she could get a word in) like we had all known each other for ever. Last but not least BJ well I have known him all of his life, good with pooters and gets on with everyone of all ages and gender. Now looking forward to the Bristol meet, to meet more of you. Bev |

Sandra, Where did you get the impression that I am witty?? Mad more like!! As for interesting, well that makes me sound like a femme fatale, someone with secrets...... LOL. Andy, please don't get a complex. We all thought how lovely you were, but it just goes to show how wrong you can be when you imagine what people are like. I expected you to be a little older, but genealogy is a topic for all ages,ie. Daniel. All the people I have met at various meets have been so great, just never enough time to speak to all of them. Sue (not Sylvia) ( bright pink shirt worn at the last London meet, or blancmange if you prefer!!) |
