Oh Mags Trust you to get the answer to the naughty one. The maker doesn't need it, the buyer doesn't use it and the user uses it without knowing. What is it? Aileen

Sorry ladies Have you got X-ray vision. I went to the village to get a few bits and some fags tooo. Okay I'll take pity and tell you the answer. The guard goes in his hut and the prisoner begins to walk away. He walks for nearly 5 mins and then turns round and walks back again. When he reaches the guard he does not have the permission paper to enter so the guard sends him back - to his freedom. Easy when you know the answer ain't it! Okay here is a nice easy one as you are all nervous wrecks now. A completely naked man rob a nepaper kiosk, and then runs off into the crowd. The police are unable to find him, and all the witnesses have trouble describing him. Explain. Aileen

The guard is away from his checkpoint while looking over the land. In the five minutes before the guard spotting him the prisoner has walked halfway across the land - The guard yells and the prisoner waves a piece of paper at him and carries on!! Do you KNOW how many fags this is taking?? LOL - and I am supposed to be giving up!! Magx

Mags your on the right track with the 5 minutes he walks on his journy out of the prison. Then think of the total minutes in the question. Think of the documentation. How could he fool the guard. Aileen

Mags

Mags Report 15 Mar 2005 12:17

As soon as the prisoner sees the guard make his first check - he runs like hell - By the time the guard comes back again he is already half way across the land. It would also take the guard five minutes to get to where the prisoner is at that point - half way across. So by the time the guard gets halfway too - the prisoner has reached the edge of the land and has been picked up by a fast car!! Magsx

A second guard comes on duty while the first is still checking the land - the prisoner claims that the first has got his release papers and the second guard believes him?

Mags Report 15 Mar 2005 12:09

The land is a ring around the prison! lol - The guard checks the land by walking in one direction for five minutes has a rest and does the next bit - coming full circle. The prisoner starts his journey and at the end of the first five minutes - the prison in in the way of the guard spotting him getting out?? My coffee is getting cold! lol Magsxx

Noooo You're on the right track that he leaves the prison but the documentation mentioned is part of the answer and something about the time scale is also relevant. Tell me a little story......... Aileen

He was a bit of an old lag known affectionately as 'the Gov'nor' - so when the guard heard him referred to as that - he let him walk out?? Magsx
