Sheila..... bit decieving saying the Sahara as you'll all think of blistering heat!! BUT in reality when I went 10 years ago it rained every day for 7 days and I walked through dry rivers that were thigh deep and have the photo's to prove it!! :O) I won't pick anywhere too hard or too hot/cold!! Not to lull anyone into a false sense of security but I did the Sahara !) years ago with hardly any training at all.... but then I am that stubborn mare that won't be beaten by a desert!! :O) Please guys get your brave heads on as we could raise over £100,000 if we could find another 20 people!! Just had a look on a site for the sahara trek! Wow....looks like some training is needed!!! What a incentive to lose a bit of weight!! Dont think my flip flops will be needed though!! Cmon everyone where is your spirit of adventure....get your name down!! Bev |

Diane..... your daughter would be welcome!! I am awaiting a reply from Cancer Research UK as to logistics and viability and then we can proceed full steam ahead! I think that sponsorship from people on GR should be just put into the fund and then I can share it out evenly between all those participating, otherwise you people will be very very poor and not able to buy certs for ages and ages!!!
