David, I am so sorry. I know how hard this must be for you. I think we feel loss so much more when we have already had a major bereavement. This will probably knock you back and bring back some very deep emotions. It does get easier again, believe me. Thinking of you. Best wishes, Sal.x

David I am so sorry, I understand how you must be feeling. We lost our wonderful Great Dane, Ophelia, 5 years years ago, aged 11. It was the saddest thing I have ever had to do, although the vet assured us that the time was right , it's so hard to know when you really have to let go. Jane

Sorry to hear your news 10 minutes ago I had my stepbrother on the phone in tears, his alsation was put to sleep 3 hours ago, she had been ill for some time (((Hugs))) to you both. elaine x

Hi Thankyou all for your kind words, i am lucky to still have Bruno( labrador) and my cat chloe, Frank was my favorite, big and boisterous, he protected me and my family for 12years, he knew who was or was'nt to be trusted and used to see them off, i feel as if i have lost a part of me at the moment, but i am thankful for all the good memories. Thankyou all again David

david, i am so sorry about frank, i know what your going through i had to have my dog snoopy put to sleep on 26th jan he was 18yrs old, it broke my heart but i am left with lovely memories, remember time is a great healer. regards chicken.
