So sorry to hear about your dog David,i know what it is like to go though this terrible experance. During all of my married life (44 years ) we have had to have 2 dogs put to sleep and 3 cats. We have 2 small dogs now one is 14 the other 5 so i just know we are going to have to go though it again at sometime in the next couple of years. We love our animals so much. Val xx |

David, Having been through this with two 12 year old dogs over the past 30years, and 4 cats, I know how you must be feeling. The first time it happened to me an acquaintance told me the best thing to do was to have another dog. I thought it a bit heartless, but 6 weeks later collected a new puppy.
