Bev, I'm always on here early. The others like to stay in bed as long as is humanly possible. I can't start anything that makes a noise as I get abuse hurled at me. So I have the perfect excuse to be here. Gwynne

Hi Julie, My sister in law had a mending box. She puts everything that needs a running repair in it. The theory is that when there is enough she will spend an evening mending them all. What actually happens is that after a year she throws them out because if they haven't been worn for a year they are not really needed. Gwynne

Morning ladies. Hope you are all well. I feel as if I have been dragged through a hedge backwards this morning. My head cold has gone onto my chest, and I now have a chesty cough. Hubby has complained that my cough has kept him awake, so he is having a lie in and i have had to get up to let the dog out. Oh! and to top it all, it is dark damp and cold up here in Tynemouth. Hi June, I do have a few things that I've hung on to like posh frocks or special occasion outfits. It's a bit silly because the next time an 'occasion' arises I always buy something new. My son's girlfriend sells my decent cast offs on ebay and we split the money. Gwynne
