Susie...I agree with you! This 'poor little me' routine is wearing a bit thin! I think he is a very calculating person and knows exactly what is right and wrong! For God' sake even my niece knows that and she is only 4yrs old! Bev x

I agree looks don't count - I see weird looking people all the time but..... I don't agree with the father thing - sins of the father and all that - MJ has had enough people around him since his unfortunate upbringing to set him straight about right and wrong. There must have been someone on his payroll who would risk the sack by trying to sort him out!

Dave...just because there was no tangible proof doesnt mean to say he didnt do it! All it says is that they couldnt prove he had done it! The only way in cases like that to prove 100 per cent is if it had been caught on camera or he had admitted to it!! The rest is just hearsay and whose word you actually believe! Like I said before who knows what the result would have been if MJ had stood on the stand himself.... makes you wonder why his lawyers wouldnt allow it really!! Bev x

Well I am glad that MJ had a jury that kept an open mind and listened to the evidence and judged it on that alone. He is a celebrity and it would have been easy for anybody to make there mind up first or make there mind up not knowing the facts like we have.Like I said earlier I thought and hoped MJ was guilty but I would like to think that if I was presented with evidence to contradict my belief that I would be open minded enough to change it. The press painted him guilty to sell papers and we all bought it including myself. Davex

I would like to add something else here..... I know someone who was sexually abused as a child by a man he knew - this trial has been awful for him because it has brought it all back and to see the outcome has been very traumatic ..... so .... if this did happen should we not feel something for the victims here (Jody in particular) to prove this thing is very hard and if one knows it has happened to them and cannot be proven then it is the worst kind of feeling in the world. sorry just had to say that as my friend has been in hell for the last few months - a nighmare back again

Deborah I agree with you fully! The same thing happened to me and it was a relative.... as I have said before no tangible proof does not mean that it didnt happen! Bev x

Deborah MJ made a big mistake paying Jordy Chandler off he should have taken that to court he would have won that instead of paying him off. MJ is an easy target for people trying to make a fast buck. Dx

Deborah, I'm glad you pointed that out, its so easy to forget that others have gone through this, and an instance like this, brings it all back. June xx

PolperroPrincess Report 15 Jun 2005 10:39

Sorry Dave.... I beg to differ! If MJ had not abused Jordy Chandler then why pay him off! If it had been you or I we would have told him to take us to court! Bev x

Jane

Jane Report 15 Jun 2005 10:43

But why ddi these parents let their children stay the night in his bed to start with!! Even if they believed they would be in their own beds it still seems odd to let your kids spend a night their on their own. Jane

DAVE B

DAVE B Report 15 Jun 2005 10:45

If Jordy had been so hurt why take the money why not expose him Bev,why not show the world he was a perv, why not show he was a paedophile, do you know why Bev because Jordys family wanted lots of money and got it,just like the latest family thought they would jump on the band waggon and do the same. This time MJ resisted and let them take him to court where justice was done.He should have done that the last time and he would have won then. He was gullible and was advised wrongly by his legal team. Dx

Sitta

Sitta Report 15 Jun 2005 10:48

Bev - I agree no money in the world is going to make a child feel better about this kind of thing - it is a life sentence for them. OK Dave - you have your thoughts but one thing I would like to say if it was my child that he had 'slept' with i would would justice for them.

PolperroPrincess

PolperroPrincess Report 15 Jun 2005 10:48

Jane...for some strange reason some people think that when they see somebody in the media for so many years, they actually know them!! How many times when famous people have died that total strangers mourn them like family! They dont realise that they only 'know' what that person is like by the fact that they are always on TV! Bev x

PolperroPrincess

PolperroPrincess Report 15 Jun 2005 10:56

Dave...I agree with you on that respect! Jordy's family should not have taken that money! If it was my child then I would want justice but look at it from another angle! MJ is like a 'God' to alot of people in America... once again it would have boiled down to Jordy's word against his! When you are being abused off someone the abuser has a way of manipulation!! Its a case of 'You won't be believed', 'it will turn people against you' 'Im the adult and they won't believe the word of a child against mine'........etc. That is with abusers who are not in the public eye! Imagine how much worse that would be if the abuser is someone like MJ!! I had it for years and only managed to tell people what had happened 8yrs ago and the reason why......Because I was scared to!! Bev x

DAVE B Report 15 Jun 2005 10:56

Deborah I would like to reiterate 2 days ago I hoped he would be guilty I really did. But we have to keep our minds open. Yes you would take somebody to court Deborah if they slept in same bed as your son I would agree. But no amount of money would sway me from not exposing them would it you? So why did Jordys parents take all that money instead of exposing him as a perv,do you know why because they were after money in the first place!! Just like the latest family were!! If anybody had done anything to any of my 3 kids or 5 grandchildren and proven I would expose them in court,I would not be interested in cash would you? Dx

DAVE B

DAVE B Report 15 Jun 2005 10:59

Bev I agree if anybody harmed my kids or grandkids never mind courts I would physically harm them myself. Dx I agree in a lot of your last statement Bev but I believe a lot of people in USA and here wanted MJ to be sent to prison.

Ok Dave as Bev says..... me a nobody saying MJ has abused my child - pressure from his people as in 'U Nobody who's going to believe u'. Pressure to take the money and say nothing because they will rubbish u and your family in court. Things have a habit of coming out and I believe in innocent until proven guilty but only time will tell in the case.

PolperroPrincess

PolperroPrincess Report 15 Jun 2005 11:03

I agree Dave but then again at the time of Jordy Chandlers accusation he wasn't to know that! As far as Jordy would have been concerned MJ was as famous and well loved as you could possibly get and I think MJ used that fact!! Bev x
