Hope this works this time, I seem to have trouble adding messages. ok I'm in, Newcastle fine for me, my daughter lives in Lamton so no problem. Leah, sounds like you are the best person to organise since its your area. New area near Nobbys lighthouse that has been refurbished (cannot remember what it is called) would be nice, as it so nice there. Sandra... thats great... Newcastle seems to be mentioned a lot but know that Sydney is more central as Newcastle is North and Wollongong south... I will be coming from Blaxland ( nr. Wagga?) not sure about just where it is. But the decision is for the majority to be fair.. ok? Have received also an e.mail from Kaye this morning who says that she has had difficulty accessing the site... Kaye is from Sydney and Mary also who would love to come to the meet... So we are now getting quite a few for it and am so looking forward to meeting you all.. 'Tinkle' is getting excited too!! Anne :)))

Boo Hoo :-(((( I'm sooooo sad...........That I live way down south on this little Island state of Australia and I cant make it, and I havent heard of too many from Tassie on this site. But I do hope you manage to get a meet up organised, they sound a lot of fun, I'd love to see the pics. Oooh maybe I might win Tattslotto and I could afford to fly over for a couple of days!!!!

Majority seems to be central Sydney area, might be easier for Ann, Leah, sorry misread your note before, thought you lived in N/Castle. Lara sorry you are in QLD, but we will endeavour to come up with viable area for all. Sandra, Aussie, Leah maybe we could get together earlier to discuss and have a little meet before. Meet-ups are a great way of getting to know your fellow members and some can stay real good friends as I have found out... try doing one for where you are Vicki... maybe start a trend over there..lol Anne :)))

I'm in Sydney or Newcastle is fine for me I just have to book John into respite for a few days he won't like it but that's tough, it will be great to get away for a while. Love Cilla in Werris Creek.

For the few people who have Emailed me about Australian meets. Its mainly because we live so far away from each other. I'm sure many Ozzies would love to have meets, but most would probably be State meets, unless you were in that part of Oz at the time. I have had a few people Email me, asking why we dont have an all Australian meet. If you take a peek at this URL you may understand why an all up Ozzie meet would be difficult to organise. Cheers. Hi Honey rum, Glad you are getting more responses, i'm glad you heard from Mary and Kaye we used to chat on another thread before it disapeared so would love to meet up with them. You mentioned Blaxland when you come over, the only one i know would be in the Blue Mountains about an hour or so from Sydney. Hi everyone... have been away for a couple of days so have not been able to get much done on here. The Blaxland I mentioned is the one by Blue Mountains... I have family there, but when I come over I will be visiting many places... the itinery is being done for me so will need a holiday when I come back to UK!!! Have had an e.mail from Leah who with others are getting together for a mini meet and coming up with a couple of dates for our Australian Meet-up. This will then be put up for everyone to say yes or no to... I do hope it is a yes from all of you... I can't wait to meet you all and get some wonderful pics to put on the site. Good idea, I am in Sydney, and will be in for a meet if I am able, but the first week October is already booked up for me - have a wedding in Louth (western NSW) on the long weekend and we have decided to take a few days either side to have a look around old stomping grounds .. let me know when you come up with a date and I will see where I will be. I had a meet up with 8 from different site recently - we meet here at Brighton, was great to put faces to names. Cheers Laurie

Haven't been on genes that long, read all your threads though, would love to get to Sydney for meet up, but live in Melbourne. although if cheap flights are available may be able to swing it for a saturday or sunday. judy
