I think up to now we have 8 names that are hopefully coming. Shirley Ann. Joanne Reeder. Frances of Norwich. Guy de Hoghton. Christine Houslander. Joy Kentish Town. Suffolk Newbie (might) Yvette PinkSarara. Malc Gentle Giant (might) Just Jo I hope to get to Bury today, thats if i can get away from work early enough to get to venues before they close. If i dont make it today, i will have to do it next week, we have plenty of time. up to now i think The Linden Tree, might be the one, as it is near the station, and it has good food. i need to find out if it is child friendly , for those that may want to bring children. If i don't think i am going to get there today i will let you all know later. and i will ring them and ask about children. (i may get there yet) Shirley Ann.

I made it to Bury today. went to The Linden, it was packed , nice place, children friendly, but very full. Hubby and i had to stand up all the time we were there. meals start at around £10.00. Then i went a bit further up and went into the IpswichArms( which i forgot to mention Joanne) but didn't stop for a drink, the sawdust got in my shoes.lol. Not far from the station is a pub called the Bushall, The food is home made, plenty of room, and not crowded. But i must add it is not posh. but hubby and i tried out the food and it was really nice, and plenty of it. it only cost £13.00 for the two of us. The only problem being, most pubs stop cooking at 2pm. but i thought if and when i know for sure how many are coming, i could phone the Bushall and ask if they would mind doing meals about 2.30pm. as otherwise they don't start cooking again until 6.30. I got a bit wet, as it was pouring with rain, but the vodkas helped. Shirley Ann.
