Maz, I've been nudging up threads about a pink ursuline creature and the London Eye to get them noticed. I delete my earlier nudges to stop the thread getting too long. It's boring to read a whole string of nudge, nudge - and no wink! CB >|<

I'm a bit confused - as usual - so can you clarify it for me. If someone digs out an old thread because they want to add to it, their name, and the time they replied, will be on it. If they just want to read it, without commenting, it will not appear on the board. If they're the 'phantom nudger' their name will disappear, but the time will remain. Is that right?

hi maz, surely to be able to nudge a very old thread- you would either have had to have added to that thread [so clicked on 'my threads' to search for it ] OR have a very very good memory, to be able to search for it by its title......... er, did that make sense ? sue.

Jacquie Am I bovvered? No I'm not I replied to your comments about how threads such as mine should be deleted to stop them coming back to haunt. And for the record, my thread was searched for delibratly. The Nudgers motives are clear. As I said...I'm not bovvered ! It takes a cowardly sick person to do such stirring annonymously in the wee small hours in the morning...when they think no one will notice them... Elaine x

Lindy No one minds nudging for a reason, but we hate it if it is for the benefit of causing trouble. E x :o))

And maybe you are reading too much into it....maybe it was just done like it often is....someone with too much time on their hands being mischievous!!! If it doesn't bother you why go on about it. Jacquie xxxx

Joan and Jacquie The thread was posted almost a year ago and pardon me if at the time I never deleted it once it fell off the board. Im sure im not the only member who does not delete every post I put once it dies a natural death. Im not ashamed of the thread I put so why delete it ? The thread does not 'Haunt me' at all. The only annoyance is that the phantom nudger thought it would come back to haunt me and has bumped it up for no reason other than to cause trouble. Maybe my words on Lyndas thread touched a raw nerve ! Elaine x
