It comes up briefly until you delete your message. Thats how some have been caught nudging controversial or argumentitive threads. as said tho...not all nudgers are bad....only the stirring nudgers E x

yes it was the 'what a cry for attention this thread is' comment that I took personally - as it was my thread in the first place and obviously it was my name on show after it was phantom nudged today. thank you for clearing up the confusion. Maz. XX

OH, i see! Sorry, it was my first post (the way i worded it) i didn't mean 'this thread' as in the original thread i meant 'this thread' as in what was being said... if that makes sense!? xxx

I don't have a problem with you Maz. I have a problem with people on here making unfounded accusations and having YET ANOTHER dig at the song thread. It is not your thread that is the problem, forgive me if i have worded previous posts that made you think otherwise, it is the people who posted negative remarks and pointed poisoned fingers.. It is a form of bullying and i am sick and tired of these people making nasty comments and then playing the victim. THAT is what is boring! And no, you havn't ever done anything nasty or personal to me, and likewise neither i to you. xxx

Tooth-Fairy I am still puzzled as to why you seem to have a problem with me. I don't get involved in arguments on here and certainly don't ever remember saying anything to upset you personally. If you are not interested in the subject then thats fine, just ignore any thread about it and you won't have to be bored by it again. Maz

Yawn...maybe if people didn't make such a fuss about threads being nudged and stopped pointing fingers the phamtom would get bored. I am very pleased you are not short of real life friends, that news has really made my day sweetie. I do find it very interesting that whenever there is an 'argumentative or accusing' thread the same names always appear! xxx

sorry Tooth-Fairy, confused by your comment. Do you mean that I am seeking attention by creating this thread in the first place?? I originally started it on August 14th after some threads had been bumped to cause trouble. Today it was bumped anonymously - it seems Neeta may have seen who did it. I am not so short of 'real-world' friends that I have to resort to attention seeking in cyber-space. Maz.

Do you remember, some weeks ago, it was rather strange when someone ''phantom'' nudged several of my quite old threads so that page one and two for a while were filled with only my threads? Most odd!!! I didn't know about it till someone told me. I don't know how to ''phantom'' nudge. :-) Joy

I've 'nudged' old threads occasionally in the past. Usually, I'm looking for something I've remembered from a while ago and just happen to see something that catches my eye. I don't just nudge it, then disappear. I add a post or put 'nudge' on the thread, and I don't see anything wrong with that. Personally, I couldn't be bothered to carry on an argument for a year. If someone upsets me that badly, I'd just ignore them completely and block their messages. The only way to stop contentious threads being nudged is to delete them, as has already been said. The phantom nudger(s?) can't do it then, can they? If you don't want to delete your old threads, you're leaving them their 'bullets' to fire. If you never delete your threads, the storage they take up must be astronomical! CB >|<
