Jenny, if you can't find anywhere else to stay Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport, down the road from NEC, was quite reasonable when we stayed there. They also have a lot of conference rooms. I think it is a great idea. Not sure if I will be able to make it or not but will certainly try if I am not on holiday. 22nd is a great idea too or 23rd. Pity I can't claim Gloucester to be central but Ok it isn't. Ann Glos

Hi Jenny, The reason I suggested near the NEC is that there is good rail and road (and air) access. If it's near Brum I can do (probably) Sat late afternoon - evening and Sunday. Gwynne

I'd certainly be interested in coming and possibly staying overnight. Carolyn

Hi again, To reassure those travelling from Scotland. There are trains from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Brum with no changes at all - if we are near the NEC there are trains to there from New St frequently and it's a journey of 10 minutes. Gwynne

Would love to attend and if Birmingham is the venue so much the better. I can stay with my daughter in Solihull for the weekend. 23rd April 2006 would be my mother's 106th birthday, however she died of cancer back in 1948. That, and the fact that my eldest daughter is fighting a battle with cancer at the moment are my reasons for being involved with the relay. It would also be great to meet with some more members and to renew acquaintance with those I have already met. Kathleen

Diana, I have just read your email. Tried to reply to it but outlook keeps on coming up 'it is out of memory' Sorry but I did not know anything about you needing GB on the 22nd. I shall be wanting her with me on the 22nd and 23rd when I am in the Midlands. Have found a pub that will hold 60 people in a separate function room. Waiting for the Licencee to phone me back tonight. Will try answering your email later. Jenny x

Hi Jenny, I had that problem with Outlook Express yesterday. Had to log out & back in again to clear it. Fingers crossed I haven't had it since. Vivienne
