I remember Blancmange (but hated them)! Also similar era was Flock of Seagulls and ABC. Not for me I was a rock fan they were too soft for me! |

Other artists/groups from the 80s that I missed first time around (too young!) that I'm getting into currently are Psychedelic Furs, also Gang of Four. Remember a group called Blancmange as well? lol |

Just thought of another group that did a very entertaining stage act - Peter Jay & the Jaywalkers. They did a version of the CanCan that went down well at 60s parties before Buster Bloodvessel did his. >*|*< |

Seems mostly to be about music. May I change the course and say Ken Goodwin the comedian from the programme of the same name. Also used to like charlie williams on the same programme. Happy days |

Hi Gwynne, Yes I knew Scott Walker was greatly influenced by Brel's lyrics, he sang loads of his songs. I have desktop pics on the computer of a few people & found some good ones of Scott here, if you haven't seen them you must go and drool lol. http://www.photofeatures*com/scottwalker/ I am envious you got to see the Walker Brothers was that when they returned with the album 'No Regrets' lovely song that someone nicked on me :-((( Pat x |

You did say artistes & not just pop or rock so does anyone else remember LOVELACE WATKINS. He had a lovely voice & I went to see him at The Talk of The Town theatre restaurant in London. Anyone remember that? Vivienne |

Did anyone else like Then Jericho? They were fantastic but short-lived and I remember seeing them in a hole in Oxford in the early 90s. |
