I remember them if they are the group that did that song that went:- the first cut don't hurt at all, the second only makes you wonder, the third will have you on your knees. You'll start pleading (or bleeding or something like that) I start leaving (maybe) I bought it! Julie xxx |

The Herd Especially 'Paradise Lost' & 'From The Underworld' no one remembers them until I mention those songs. Reparata & the Delrons 'Captain Of your Ship' The Pioneers Biggest Pop hits 'Long Shot Kick De Bucket', 'Let Your Yeah be Yeah' 'Roll Muddy River', 'Give & Take' and hundreds more :-))) Probably think of loads more lol. Julie - thats the one ! Louise... I don't know that song.. but then I only had one of their albums, 'Duel' I think it was called. (the album was in fact called 1234 - Duel was the song mentioned above - has a momentary brainstorm there !) |

Hmmm... The Soft Boys (released two albums around late 70s/early 80s - best one is Underwater Moonlight, fave tracks - The Queen of Eyes, I Wanna Destroy You, Insanely Jealous). Singer Robyn Hitchcock did have a solo career after that, I think. Band reformed though a couple of years back and released a new album Longpigs (Forgotten band from the Britpop era - The Sun Is Often Out is a great lost album, contains singles On And On, Lost Myself, Far, She Said) |

Paul the song was Dr Mabuse. It had the 'never look back' in it. Gary US Bonds were brill. They sang 'you wear the crown' |

I remember Longpigs :) By the way Andy, I finally bought/downloaded the Maximo Park album, and have been playing it constantly, for the last 2 days... of course, theyre bound to be good, the lead singers name is Paul Smith lol |
