I haven't danced properly for about 10 yrs & I have to confess I've never done the Tango. I just wanted to wind BC up. You two go ahead & I'll enjoy the view. Vivienne |

Well ladies you are both such a disappointment! I am offended and I will now go to rehearse (not that I need to) for Strictly come dancing. I may call back later to see if my luck has changed! B |

My dear Miss Jingle, I am sure with such a lissom figure as you are blessed with you will be so light and dainty on your feet that I shall have no need for toe caps of any kind. Unfortunately I am at present about to take a class for Mr. Wayne Sleep. I shall pop in this evening and look forward with pleasurable anticipation to taking a turn or two around the dance floor with you. B |

I'm back. I do hope you have all been behaving yourselves and practising hard. This is a serious class and NO frivolity will be tolerated (or flirting LOL:)) |

I don't know how I'm going to keep up with you lot. One wants the tango and one wants the polka. Your like naughty children, can't wait for anything. Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention that after you have followed the instructions with back, to the side, close, with one foot, don't forget to then repeat it with the other foot. I don't want you all falling flat on your faces :)) |

LMHO This reminds me of the ballroom dancing classes I went to in my teens. Didn't last long though, most of us were thrown out for laughing. We found it hilarious when the instructor kept saying - back, side, together! >*|*< |

I will be a model pupil... I promise. Not wishing to be the teachers pet but really have you seen the antics the rebels have been getting up to? Especially Mandy Jingle, Vivienne and BC, they have been flirting! Beryl :))))) |

Sorry folks, had trouble getting the right outfit. Decided to go the whole hog and put my best ballroom frock on. 'Like the ones on Come Dancing in the 60's on a monday night' Just hope my partner, when he shows up, does not stand too close and crushes the front of my dress, always thought it a shame when the men did that on the program. My Dad was a very good ballroom dancer, actually won prizes in his youth. I am sure I can follow in his footsteps. Lol. Ready and waiting Chrissie, I am here for the night now. Jenny x |

I had three of those Jenny. A beautiful pink bustier top one with black sequins on. A peach off the shoulder one and a green one overlaid with white lace. You had to be careful that they were styled correctly or when the man got close they would shoot up at the back LOL:)) I'm afraid I have to go shortly. I wouldn't still be here now as hubby is waiting for tea but I forgot to take out a loaf to defrost and we are now waiting patiently for it to thaw enough to cut:)) I am a TERRIBLE housewife:)) |

Have ben practicing Chrissie , honest, and have managed to tramp a path round the garden, practicing with my broom. I only fell in the rose bed twice cos i wasnt sure what you did after left right together/Right left together when you went to go together and you are up against the plum tree. erm, is there anything about plum trees that get in your way? By the way, my smart new wellies add a certain 'something' to the waltz jess |

Jess - LMHO - You could try a few je-te round the plum tree. Oh, I forgot, were doing the waltz LOL:)) The welly thing reminded me of one night when it was thick snow on the ground. I had gone to class in my wellies and had just struggled back in to them to go home, when a chap turned up who was a brilliant dancer and I had always wanted a dance with him. He asked me to dance and as it was the last waltz I didn't have time to change back into my dance shoes. I did it in my wellies but he was such a good dancer it was still like floating on air:)) Chrissie x |
