Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 30 Dec 2005 03:50

Oh Anthony You poor boy you are just 5 years older than me. To be subjected to that is terrible. We sent your ancestors to that god forsaken country because you nicked a loaf of bread so can't blame you for giving us Neighbours and Gnome and a Day (not a misprint). While we freeze, hope you get a nice tan (sunburn). Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year

Night Christine thanks as ever for your input :-))) Aileen LOL some of my Irish lot are said to have been transported to Botany Bay and one side of my other lot went to NZ the most beautiful part they could seek and their descendants are still there Southlands, taste or what? I used to love Science Fiction. Blake 7 was my favourite, they are always talking of bringing it back, but who would replace the wonderful Servolan?

Well, Pat, I can assure you they didn't ask me! There's only one series on that list that I'd bother to switch on the TV to watch, but I've got it on tape anyway, so I wouldn't bother unless I was really desperate for something to do (As if!). CB >|<

Hi Tony visiting New Zealand was my one and only life's ambition in the travelling stakes as i reckoned I wouldn't survive on a plane for such a long period especially without a fag. I have now given the fags the elbow but I don't think my health is anyway good enough to venture so far. I have found cousins from my mother's side moved out there to Invercargill, Southlands, only found this out last year I can't believe the coincidence. Yes Gwenda Gwynne BC I did say liked Blakes Seven too :-) don't think it would be the same now though :-( Hi CB hope you saw my bit about the wonderful Patricia Hayes and Pat Coombs two terrifically talented Camberwell born ladies. I think Pat is still alive. Patricia Hayes I know died in 1998 and I was searching for the TV Programme she was in with that saying it was 'Edna, the Inebriate Woman' from 1971, I cannot believe it was that long ago, wonderful performance from Patricia and what a wonderful drama. Similiar to the Cathy Come Home type drama seriously important stuff. Hi Kim Didn't actually keep up with Poldark but liked it anyway :-))) Pat x
