Hi Becki, You'll be fine but I'm not sure if your Mum will be able to stand the strain. Eat lots of ice cream when you get home, I understand it's very good. Gwynne

Oh Lou I do feel for you. Fran had to have a major op on her foot 18 months ago and was so scared but I wasn't allowed to stay as she was 18. She was fine. They were really lovely with her and us and everything went really well. Hope everything goes well for Becki. Daisy

All my love and best wishes to Beckie. She will be fine, if you bribe the ward staff with sweets they usually let you stay in longer than usual visiting times at my local hospital - it's worth a try!! take care and try not to worry too much, lou xxxx

hi lou, it's strange but most people say, that the worst part about staying in hospital,is the smell. i'me sure you have been told, that it's such a simple, quick operation, but that doesn't ease the nerves, does it? when they take her to theatre, pop outside, have a ciggie, walk back in,and they will be wheeling her back out again. best wishes...bryan.
