GR is a fantastic resource. I have been making contact with descendants of ancestral siblings. And it seems that the bigger your Tree grows the easier it is to find others on the same line.

Think I have 214 on this tree and 617 on my other GR tree - have stuck to mostly direct ancestors and siblings except for a couple of families. But both trees are in the thousands on PA5 - I have been doing this a very long time though :)

92 on GR. Just over 1400 on my offline family tree programme - compiled from a lot of personal, interesting research since 1999, and from very kind people (some of whom were ''distant'' cousins) on rootsweb mailing lists. :-) Joy

Rachel Report 6 Jan 2006 12:37

GR says I have 607 FTM says 587 that cant be right as I constantly add to FTM and then upload that to GR - looks like I have a few free radicals floating around.

Vonny, If you click on 'Search' then find by RIN/MRIN it will tell you how many individuals you have in your Tree. My offline Tree has gone up to 11726 this morning thanks to a newly found 5c1r.

About 520 in my GR tree, but I'm not sure exactly, as I'm still checking all the duplications and omissions that have mysteriously occurred in it. About 600 in my FTM tree, which shows branches I've found but can't yet connect, as well as living people who I don't want to put on GR - mainly cousins of mine or my husbands and their children.
