Good luck Bec. These are a bit cheesy:!! Did you fart? Cause you blew me away. I bet I could beat you at football. [No way.] Give me the ball and you tackle. Were you in Boy Scouts? Because you sure have tied my heart in a knot. Do you have a Band-Aid? I hurt my knee when I fell for you. I may not be Wilma Flintstone, but I know I can make your BedRock. Is your name Gillette? the best a woman can get. Do these look real? Can I have a picture of you so I can show Santa what I want for Christmas? Reach for the back of their shirt and look at the tag, then say: Just what I thought, made in Heaven. You know, sweetie, my lips won't just kiss themselves. You are the hottest thing since sunburn. I lost my teddy bear. Will you sleep with me? Just say Hi You'll do! |

Have you tried that new/pub/club/winebar/..?.have you been back to the pub/club/winebar since they got new management? If yes - what was it like. I've been meaning to go - don't suppose you fancy a drink later/tomorrow/next week If no - shall we suss it out together? Could be fun etc. Have you seen...new film/art film/rerelease - same as above....perhaps we could have a meal after etc. Or be really bold and say 'I'd really like to go out with you some time' (smile) 'but if you can't stand the thought (laugh) let me buy you a drink and we'll just chat. I like talking to you. It's a looooong time since I had to do any of this so I'm a bit rusty! (That wasn't a chat up line - that was me LOL) Mags xx |

Be honest - and don't laugh about his mate for trying or put him down. If he mentions him, tell him you like him and was quite flattered/pleased/sorry in a way that he had asked you out but/because although you like him as a friend the chemistry just wasn't there and it wouldn't have been fair to have said yes. You could say you hope he hasn't said anything to him because you wouldn't like to think that you hurt him in any way by saying no. Aunt Marge xx |
