Oh Em! You must be heartbroken after all that work! You have my full sympathy. I'm cross enough with my OH for saving all my Gaynor Bear Relay stuff in some weird format on CD that I can't get into, so I can only imagine how bad you must feel. CB >|< X

Em so sorry to hear of your losses. My grandson is a wiz kid with computers and only this morning I complained of certain things and he saoid he could fix same but unless i had copies on disc I would lose everything that was stored. If Judy in the states can offer an answer I shall be pleased top learn of it. Rupert.

Em, keep a cool head for a mo- judy is your man. My 'he' is looking over my shoulder and initially said ''Oh No'' But apparently the files are still there, it is the Ref to them that has been erased by formatting in the file allocation table. there are utilty progs that will look the hard disc and list files that are on it. The only downside is, they could be lost because re-insalling windows can overwrite the space those files were in. Dont panic- wait for JUDY Alan recomends www(.)nonags(.)com - site for this type of utility prog Jess x

Thanks for your messages.... Danger mouse, i have tried system restore, it only takes me back to when i re installed windows xp this morning. Some of the photos, i can hopefully get back again off the people that sent them, but i know alot of them were deleted of the digital camera after putting them on the pc... there were loads of my wedding photos there too!, family photos, ones of the children... all lost! I will send Judy in the States a message when i compose myself... thanks xx

Oh no! That's terrible Em. Don't know if a system restore would help. I'm not very good with technology I'm afraid. When my last computer kicked the bucket, I lost everything from outlook express which contained similar things to yours. Hope you can get it sorted xx
