You're right Lew Lew too much aggro on Gen at the moment is making all the nice folk stop posting! It has been so funny here today with our high temps my son's sports day cut short we have gritters on the roads cos the tarmac might melt (unless they are running late from the January cold snap) and news full of how hot it is! I for one will be happy to see return to good ol british summer Kaz :o))))))

UrbanGirl Report 20 Jul 2006 02:56

hello everyone, long time no see. The kids and I have been sick (it had to happen in the school holidays!!) And yes I had a face lift so to speak. was soooo sick of hearing MUUUMMMY and LOUUUIIISSA (Louisa) that I thought I would now go by the name of Urban Girl on GR instead of plain old Louisa, but I promise I will always add my name so I don't confuse anyone. Hi Shazz and Jood, I'm still looking for Maxwell davis/Davies. I have contacted NSW electorals to see what they can find to narrow the search a bit, so please keep all fingers crossed. I have ordered my first lot of marriage certs. from the UK and they are on their way to Oz (soooooo very excited). This is better then X mas, hubby thinks I'm a fool for being so excited. hi Trifley, hope all is well with you. have been sending positive thoughs your way. Louisa x

Hi Urban girl, so sorry about holidays, I had the three g/kids for the last week, and glad that it was only cold and not wet, allright for the littlee (13mnths) but had to keep the elder two amused, thank god for OH being home that week, hurt his back so he chauffered them around for a couple of days while I stayed home with the baby, keep searching and keep adding on looking for as eventually someone will come along with what you are looking for and dont get disheartened as it may take a while Hello there Gwenda, thank you very much, your a doll, have printed out and slowly going thru the names, Rob was so pleased when I told him, so along with what you and Jood have sent me I should come up with something, and again thanks, glad you had a great time in old downtown Sydney, better you than me, bit of a whoos when it comes to going into town, I find it a little daunting, unless Im with someone that really knows their way around, bit like Canberra, I get lost there too lol Jood have a nice lunch Cheers Shaz

Well you will all have get used to Princess Diy again - Jarra was jarring the nerves and just didn't feel right -sorry lew. Whew lew - what an ode to the cat! (((((((( hugs)))))))))) and best wishes/lots of love to Trifley. Welcome back Queen of the Qantas lounge - don't complain about sydney weather - we had 0.5 deg this morning with a 2mm frost - woke up feeling like we were living on an island surrounded by thick fog but we were in sunshine - had to descend into it to get to work. There definitely weren't any hot air balloons over the valley or the city this morning - wouldn't have seen much! Still gives me a start some mornings when there are 3 or 4 balloons bobbing past when I open the blinds. Had a call from son in UK last night - 34 deg heat wave - lol. He said (grumble/grumble) their b****y cars need aircon! They are expecting 39 deg today - 'troppo-pical heat wave, we havin a heat wave - lol well off to have some lunch - I'm starving! jude 3

Bugger! I'd just typed a message and somehow I lost it - so will have to start over! Jillaroo - love the new name! Have been out walking with the walking group this morning - beautiful sunny day and of course had to have the coffee and devonshire scones to follow! One of the guys in the group is just back from 5 weeks in the UK - he rented a house in Devon for a week, stayed with friends in Essex and Buckinghamshire and then went on a house boat on the canals. He had a great time - gives me itchy feet. Must be haircut time for us all - I'm off this afternoon to get mine trimmed. I get a little spray on mine because it is so fine and fly away. Welcome home Laurie - hope the piggy pen is looking less cluttered. Were you over your luggage allowance on the way home?? Hope you are enjoying the results of your retail therapy. Nice kitty, soft kitty Little ball of fur Sleepy kitty, pretty kitty Purr, purr, purr. Ooooh - after being so mean to you, puddy cat, we are all sucking up to you big time now! Nice kitty - stay and play. Hi Trifley - are you connected? Were you able to smuggle the boys in? A back rub from Nefer, peel me a grape Ebenezer! The strength of the Wattlers is with you mate. My scratch pad is not working for some reason so I can't look back at all the posts while I'm typing so I'll just have to say Hi to you all and have a good day. Just remembered - Jude Princess diy - Yes, I like that better. I don't know who that other Jarra person is. Luv to all Anna
