Hello all, I have been home from about 2pm, reading up on all your doings - good god - Suzy q and Tony and Lara playing cowboys and indians and running bare around the vacuumed carpets!!!! .. Can't trust them when we are away!. Not even WE Wattlers were that noisy. Laurie, Im worried about Wattie too - the poor lil mite is a bit taken with those martoonies. .. Last time I saw him, he was down Lew's cleavage - what next!!! You guys best try your hardest to get to the Mudgee Meet - its gonna be a riot!!!! .. Can just see us Wattlers arms length away from each other around lap-pool with our drinkies (who wants to swim?) Well Tony, you couldnt have been turning your mouth the right way when those little balls popped out on Saturday night :( .. Never mind - maybe we should ask Barb for some lucky numbers next time eh? I'm pleased to say I'm heaps better than I was up till the Friday morning - energy back, just slight cough and cold now. . Can cope with that (if I have to) I'm beginning to think Lara must hand pick each one of us Wattlers, coz we are all sooo nice! Yvette, I hope you weren't toooo shy to join in, I should have spent more time with you - but was listening to Princess DI(y)'s antics! .. Lyn & Mick - you disappeared off home without saying goodbye :(, and then when I nicked off to win some more money (and did) - Lew & Terry, Jude & Ken nicked off and I never said goodbye to them either :( .. Shazz you were heaps of fun as usual, as was Lew ( a terror, that one, but fun!) Tassie - it was wonderful to meet you - am still surprised how small I am - errrm, height I mean - between you and Laurie. .. Honest, I was very tall once!!!! .. Peeps, Tassie and I talked and talked our silly heads off! Oh - must tell you about Shazz on her arrival. She noticed I had the same colour jumper on as she did - her welcoming remarks were (with a disapproving frown - 'get it orf, get it orf') .. Being very ladylike I replied with a finger. :)) Think, hope I have covered all. .. Vonny so pleased puss came home, I dont suppose she's told you where she has been??? Hi Trifley. Yes, Barb has started packing. Looking forward to Hayman Island. We have holidayed on a few of the other Islands, Daydream, Hamilton, South molle, Lindeman and Fraser Island, but this will be our first visit to Hayman. Mudgee meet.Mmmm... perhaps i should put our name down for that meet. Haven't been up that neck of the woods for donkeys years. Last time i was up that way was Dubbo in the 80s Dont know if Il'e get this right but, going by th Pickles Laurie sent.Just a wild guess mind you, as only met a few at the Yarrawonga meet. One table has Sue ( Tassie ) Yvette ( i think )...Ken ( Judy YV hubbie ) then JudyYV.....Mary........Lew...*.across the table* Laurie.....Joodle....Gwenda....then Sandra ( perhaps ). Other table has Dave ( Gwenda's hubbie ) ...Shazz....then not sure....*across table* ..not sure.......then Bob ( Shazz hubbie ).....Vonny....then i think Terry ( Lew's hubbie ). Good afternoon Wafflers, I have had a lovely weekend - thank you !!!! We had a slow start to our day, I cooked up some bacon & eggs around 8ish, and by the time we got ourselves organised it was nearly 10. Jude & Ken were having a loate start too - still had to eat, and book out, so we didn't meet up with them, we droped Joodles at Central railway station, and went straight up to the Sydney Tower . . . Sue & I went up, and it was good that she was able to see the city on a clear bright, sunny day. Yes, Joodles said she had to go home, wouldn't stay any longer and let me spoil her - but she was sounding heaps better. Then it was time to take Sue to the airport, and say goodbye to a very lovely lady. I hope she enjoyed herself - it was a joy to have her here. Ray and I headed back into the city to meet up with Ken & Jude, but they had discovered the Maritime museum, so we left them to have a wander thru there and the Endeavour. They dont leave Syndey till later tonight, but are going to have a wander around on their own. Ray has now gone off to the office - brat didn't tell me till this afternoon that he had some preparation to do for a presentation. Vonny, so glad your little cat came home - Tony, I am worried about Wattley . . . hes gone to Bright with Lew & Terry !!! Lew has taken him to give him a taste of the cold weather in preparation for his trip with her in January. Lucky you and Barb, only 5 sleeps to Hey - Man . . . You gunna be a cool dud on Hey Man with yah Hot Chick ???? . . . Dont be sad Lara - only a few weeks really till you come back down thru Bris and surely you Bris lot can organise something then to brighten up of Lara star !! Hello, I'm back, is there anyone out there. Vannoy give tia a big hug from my Sophie, who is much better every day. She is almost back to normal but still has difficulty chasing the dog, much to her disgust. Your sounding better today Trifley, just let the healing take its course, laugh on the good days and have a martoonie on the bad. You will get there eventually. Anna I thought that Auditory Engineering might be something to do with testing hearing. Just how wrong can you be. LOL Its been another quiet day on here, think the party goers must be sleeping it off. Are you home yet Tassie. Well no one to talk to. Arvo Wattlers. Absolutely glorious day in Melbin, sun shining and very spring like weather. A small breeze is blowing but, a very nice day to boot. Laurie. Thanks for the pickles mate. Looks like everyone had a great day. Haffta watch that little Wattle bear though, he seems to be knocking off peoples grog when there not looking...lol Hope he's not turning into a Alchaholic at such a young age!!! Its funny how someone mentioned an all out Ozzie meet, as i was thinking along the same lines. It would be great for all of us to have one big meet once a year in a given State that suits everyone. Even a Xmas meet up or BYO...B.B.Q at a park somewhere, at a time when we can count on good weather. Washed the cars this morning, seeing the suns out, and turned the soil in the Vegie patch to get ready for spring/summer Vegies. What great news Vonny. You can now reminisce about the Sydney meet without worrying about poor little Tia. I imagine it must have taken the shine off your Sydney visit - so all's well that ends well! Trifley - we were all impressed with the SAE Institute - a really good feel to it. (SAE stands for School of Auditory Engineering). Lots of hard questions to be discussed now. I got tired of cowboys and indians and had a few too many wines and flaked on the bed from sadness that I wasn't at meet,and was so despondant when Tiger came home from golf he cooked tea and tried to console me with well you'll see the pickles. Hi, Just got home from church and a good bye morning tea for my friends. GOOD NEWS :) Just as I arrived home 15 mins ago, Tia turned up - dirty and very very hungry but alive :) I'm so thankful - must find your Thread Laurie:) I shared at church that she was missing and they prayed for her to come home. It's so unlike her to go missing and I don't know how she got out yesterday! Enjoyed our time at Star City yesterday so much and YES we must work on an Aussie meet :) Gwenda and I were thinking that an ACT meet would be good next year around the Floriade festival time :) (Sept/Oct) Have to go - the 11th plank awaits :) ~~~~~~~~~ A very happy Vonny

Good Morning Wattlers Back from Byron Bay - Katherine and her friend had a wonderful day - had photos of themselves taken individually with members of the Pop band Evermore who were performing at the Uni open day. Thje girls were stoked! Sounds like a good time was had by all in Sydney yesterday. So glad it all went well and that good company and good food were enjoyed by all. Glad that you were able to get there Jood - and of course Lew and Terry - what sly little Wattlers they are! You will have a lot to think about over the coming weeks Devly - it was wonderful that you could be there. Hope you are feeling a little better Trifley. We drove past the Mudgerebah turn off on our way to Byron and I waved to you! Pity about the Lotto - you would think with all those chances we would have got something! Thanks for the piccies Laurie - I'm still trying to put names to some faces - I guess I will work it out by process of elimination! Can you tell me who was there? Morning all, Jood here, all showered and dressed, 3 giraffes with their heads in the sky, can hear a plane in the distance, - no love letters in the sand this morning, but people out early. The annual City to Surf race is on today - 62000 (Im not one of them in case you wondered!) Wow is all *I* can say too, brilliant company yesterday - we sure are a nice bunch. I can see we are gonna have to have an aussie meet for ALL of us one day!!! Im heading back to the mts this morning so will catch up later. Im much better now, just the remnants of a cough/cold, I think I had an URTI as well before. Love to all Jood

Good Morning Wattlers Tassie here, I have just spent the last hour looking out at the lovely view from Lauries balcony. WOW that is all I have to say. Yesterday I had the most wonderful time will all the Wattlers, what can I say, you would find a nicer bunch of people anywhere. After we left the Casino, the lovely Ray and Laurie took Jood and myself for a tour of the city, then back to their place for a BBQ tea, it was a late tea, but none of us minded I dont think as we ate and ate and ate at the casino. Well I am going to get off here and have a shower and then a bit more sight seeing with Laurie, Ray, Jood, and we are going to catch up with Jude3 and Ken also. Catch you when I get home later today.
