Evening Wattlers first chance I've had to return to fread since Saturday, well what a wonderous waffling wondiferous meet we had. where did the hours go - perhaps a conference room next time - with unlimited time, food, drinks, talking, a wattlelotto win to pay for it all -pmsl. (are you listening whoever purchases the next lotto ticket) Thank you to Laurie and Ray for the very generous offer of collecting the taswegian and victorian contingent from the perils of a very busy Sydney airport - lol. (we found each other in the end!) Laurie, Ray, Tassie Sue, Ken and I had a wonderful breakfast on the shores of a beautiful spot in Sydney, were privy to the spectacular sight of the giraffes (only a couple) perusing the skyline and trying to pinch ourselves that we were in Sydney and going to meet the most loveliest group of wattlers that we are blessed to be a part of. Laurie with her inimitable style directed the lovely Ray (who must be one of the most patient men on earth!- (come on! he had 3 giggling females in the back seat!- in Ken's words - 'all flapping their gums in unison' - cheek!- lol) with his unflapable driving got us to the casino. No mean feat in Sydney traffic - believe me. After we had been refused entry to the casino because of a beautiful bunch of yellow and green balloons (of couse they were filled with liquid gas (get it - waffling gas) lol - we ran into Lew and Terry - believe me I'm not often lost for words -but Ken was stunned , I didn't speak for uummm 30 secs, I couldn't believe my eyes ( of course - I made a miraculous recovery!) We had a marvellous lunch - wasn't nearly long enough- really how could any establishment think that 4 hours was nearly adequate for the wattlers to communicate! I didn't even get to change tables and talk with vonny, Lyn - (who I still haven't been 'properly introduced to' lol.) Shazz, the delightful Rob ( now don't get jealous Shazz ) who gave me a loverley cuddle!- I do know him from Yarrawonga you know! and everyone else on the other table- you know who you were. You are the most delightful peeps, I'm so pleased the 'lovely Lara' introduced us all. We are just so lucky to have found each other. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome. Ken still keeps saying 'I can't believe you don't know half these people and yet you get on so well' (to borrow from Lew - heheheheh!-he knows nusthing!) You have to be a wattler to understand. We unfortunately didn't catch up with sue before she left, but very footsore and tired made our way to the airport at 8.00pm for a 9.15 flight. (we were kna*****d). Got up this morning 8.00 am to move eldest son back home (middle name boomerang) - finished at 5.30 pm - why do our offspring develop into magpies? now I'm b*****ed.off to the land of nod. If anyone would like a memento of the Sydney meet,(even though you weren't there) I have made extra key rings so if you pm me will post to you - this is an exclusive offer - lol - original wattle material (very hard to find) made by a mad victorian patchwork woman - this is an offer hard to resist - pmsl - sorry no free steak knives come with this offer! (have made enough for every wattler - I was on a roll!) Got to go - v.tired and delerious now luv jude 3 |

Good evening Wafflers . . . notice the cats apprentice just snuk in to get the number . . . HI Lew , how is Bright (teeeeeheeee) Jood - with Jade at your door you will never be poor - but remember wealth is not always calculated in the almighty dollar. I have heaps of Feng Shui books if you ever want to borrow them. You may not have noticed my little bits and pieces around to keep the good vibes in the apartment - but they are there. If you have the toad with the coin in his mouth, make sure he is facing inside the house, not towards the door. It is amazing when you start to read about Feng Shui just how many things in life are related, and in history too. I will have to try the bottle in the corner trick Tony, wonder if it works the same way with a red wine bottle!! Bowen is lovely isn't it Oh Great Trifely one . . . I am off tomorrow to be pricked too . . . thought I would go out in sympathy with you. Nothing major - been in pain for the past week across my back and neck from the bleedin shingles (had then in 1971 when Ray was in Vietnam, and the pain tends to come back every now and then). Not much else on offer for it except painkillers and I dont want to take anything I dont have to. I have a fairly high pain threshold but when I cant get the brain to function properly its time to do something. So about 10am I will be the Echinda of the day. I'm pooped too - so will call it quits and catch up tomorrow cheers luv Laurie |

Awww ya all larfin at me poor Jade - it's not dyin - its bin eaten alive by summat. .. I jest asked wot to put on it - I'm sure VB wouldnt help :( Trifley - Bowen Therapy is very strange, but apparently very effective. I'm off to bed too. Tony - my dining room table is sort of Japanese, and I have that sort of theme. .. I have often thought of putting up one of those silk or bamboo screens in front of it - that would help wouldnt it? Nite all Jood |

Joodle..Sell up...lol Jus jokin mate. O'k.....if you have the front door open, then keep the back door closed...re-direct. If you need an open window, then use a bedroom window. If chi moves to fast through your home you lose its benefits. eg: Straight in the front door and straight out the back door...at a 100 miles an hour......no good mate. Tony Oz..:>)) |

Goodnight you mad lot of Wattlers Tony -hope you take plenty of chi with you to Hayman Island - make sure you put a couple of bottles of VB in the corners of your room up there as soon as you get there. Tassy - you sure did show Wattie around Launceston. And taught him some bad habits I'm afraid. Love the letter box!! Sorry to hear about your Jade Jood! Tip a bit of VB on it and it might revive. Glad you are feeling better. Must have been the prawns. Poor Ducky Fluff must be busy gathering up census forms. Yoohooo Ducky Fluff - if you can hear me. How are you Trifley - when do you have the Bowen treatment. Hope it helps. Katherine is already doing media, music, Maths and English which will stand her in good stead for what she wants to do. I'm off to bed - don't think I'm making much sense so waves to everyone. Congrats Lew on getting the number. How gracious of Puddy to retreat so politley! See you all tomorrow Night Anna |

Hi Joodles.....I have a lot of jade plants at our front door...doesn't seem to bring the money unfortunately :( I had the Bowen therapy today. It is a most unusual type of massage, very gentle, no discomfort or pain. The woman said she worked on my lymph system which would help the drainage. No obvious change at the moment but she said it could take a few days to see an improvement. I have another session next Monday ....so we will see what happens. Tony...sorry mate...the prawns weren't tigers....but they were yummy. I was a good little person and left some for Graeme. TX |

Awwww Vonny !!!!! .. Sumtins EATING me Jade!!!!! .. I dunno what to spray it with :( Tony, coz its a small town house, the front door leads into the dining room which opens out on to the patio at the back - so basically front and back doors are facing each other. That's not good is it? Jood |

Tony, nice to 'see'you. Hope you and Barb have a great holiday. I've run out of download early this month so my computer is as slow as a wet week :( catch you all tomorrow ~~~~~~~~ Vonny |

Well.......( for instants )...if you live in a hoose with a long passageway from your front door that leads to ( lets say ) your Lounge or Familyroom....or where you sit or rest....ya weary bones. If the passageway leads straight into this room ( no corners ) then whatever is at the end of this room will receive good Feng Shui leading from your front door. If your passageway does a right or left turn ( into the room ) ..you need a pot plant of chimes, or table in that corner, so chi can smoothly glide around the wall to reach the room, and you. Hope that makes sense...lol Tony Oz..:>)) |

Nite Sue, I did notice your letterbox, and I did smile to myself - now remember you were going to give me a footy list??? Tony - more problems, its probably cluttered on my table too, downstairs, I'm going to have to turn over a new leaf. .. I have also heard of the Chi in your body - it has to be balanced, and unblocked. Jood |

Joodle. All jokes aside mate...i do beleive in Feng Shui, but it starts at your front door mate. You have to welcome chi into your house.....( so i learnt ) The front door to your home is called the mouth. If your mouth of chi has poor feng shui, the chi of your entire home will suffer. To welcolm chi...........you must remove objects that clutter the entrance to your home, truly Cluttered up front doors and poor lighting at the entrance, makes it difficult for chi to enter. Sue. Loved the letter box mate, its a classic. Also loved the map of Oz.....and the main land as Tassie's playground....LOL Tony x |

Tony - norty you - I had a coughing fit when I read about you putting an empty beer bottle in each corner of the bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!!! But thereby lies my problem - its the clutter around this office that is causing my sickness. .. Funnily enough I started on my Avon cupboard a few minutes ago before reading the message, and threw out heaps of old statements and books, so that is one cupboard ok. .. Would it help if I put a beer bottle in each corner you think? .. I'd have to crawl down under me desk to put one in the corner, but I really would do that if it would work (would he know I prefer Lite Beer and not VB??) Really I am interested in it, but not really learnt much. .. I have a frog, an elephant, some coins and an ivory money thing on my kitchen table which faces the front door - not sure if Im pointing them all the right way. .. I also have some jade outside the back door (something has eaten all the leaves off too) - and thats to stop the money going out the back door. .. Should put one out the front as well, I guess. Evening....:>))) Raining outside at the mo. Jill. ( Shower joke )That was me to a tee mate...:>)) cept....now days when i run nacked past Barb from the shower, she says.... Hi Prune....:>((((( ......cheeky woman....lol Trifley. Hope thems were Tiger Prawns...Yum Love prawns and Lobster, also shrimp cocktails with mayonnaise sauce, and have been known to knock off a few at a pub or restaurant, all washed down with a few beers. Tassie. Thanks for the pickles mate. That little Wattle bear gets around a bit, he must be picking up heaps of frequent flyer points....hee hee Joodle. I'm a great beleiver in Feng shui. Ever since i holidayed in Hong Kong, read books about it when we visited many Temple's. The biggest feng shui problem is clutter, and also sharp right angled walls. Stops the good vibes, and creates bad arrows from smooth travelling around the walls inside your Hoose mate. Put a pot plant in or near each corner of ya bedroom or sumptin for good vibes. I keep empty beer bottles in the corner of each room in our bedroom, and the Feng Shui master comes at night and fills them up......:>))))....Trust me...it works ( crosses fingers behind back ).....True dinks..:>))) Had a Laaaaamb roast for tea with vegies, and just sitting here picking the marrow outa the bone, and reading the threads. Best wishes to all the sickies. Welcolm back to all the travellers Tony Oz...:>))) |

Lyn - I meant I was just sorry I didnt get to say goodbye to you that's all, .. It was hard to keep track of everyone once we moved out of the dining room. .. Anyway, we will meet again one day - we can always do a repeat of the last mini lunch. Yes Mary, if you are run down you pick up anything (like me) - my sister says my body is out of sync - If Fen Shui is working ok I will be ok - well if anyone can tell me how to do that, I'd be pleased!!! .. Go for the Vitamin C as least Mary. Trifley how did you get on today - Or is it tomorrow? ..Sounded like you weren't not gonna share those prawns with ANYONE .. lol Calling Princess DI(y) ????? ... You did arrive home safely????? Flakey you do know we thought about you on Saturday - and I still have my mini flakey too. Jood |
