Oh goody, some waffling. :) For about 4 hours or so there I thought I'd killed the thread!!!!! Gwenda - Tia saves the toilet paper trick for when she is really annoyed with us and then she deliberately goes and shreds it! Mary and other sickies - hope you all get a good night's sleep. buggar buggar buggar (sorry) - but I had typed a long screed and went sailing off to look at something else, and lost the b*******y lot. I was sympathising with Mary, Sandra and Gwenda with their colds, and hoping they get better very soon. Trifley with Bowen, Laurie with acupuncture. .. Hope you get some satisfaction and relief. I feel for you Gwenda with the rotten day you had. Honestly - nothing seems to go right these days, certainly not what we plan, anyway Some storm we had today in Sydney (I wouldnt have even known up here in the mountains). .. Laurie may have seen it. Oh soo tired again - rushing around - tsk tsk. I was about to tell Mary not to rush around so much - and as for visitors so soon Mary - what next?? Finally had hair cut today which should have been done last Thursday when I was sick, for the meeting. All tizzied up - nowhere to go - now I'll go off to bed and mess it all up .. pmsl. How-de-do-de Wattlers Well, it took most of the day but we did it! Or I should say Graeme and Mark did it....the h*******k! The place is glowing like a new pin. Aren't they the bestest little men around? While they were moving stuff to vacuum I decided that a bit of re-arranging wouldn't go astray. Needless to say that thrilled the boys no end....lol Anyway I got them to move the record player, records (big, black, plastic cd's) and cupboard from the lounge to the dinning room. This of course had a bit of a domino effect but the result is a lot better. We now have the player and speakers near a power point and can use it for the first time in 2 years. Hi Jude DIY...I've PM'd you about the key ring. I would love one please. Joodles....have you had a chance to move the jade yet. Crew....oooo...Brown Bros. they make nice wine. Donna....fingers XXXX'd this school helps Daniel. My grandfather's family were carpenters/joiners and built a lot of houses in Bolton. One street where they worked a lot is now called after them....Baxendale Street. Tony....not long now to your holiday. Hi Dragonfly.......let us know if your strange feeling comes to anything. Evening all, Glad it has been quiet cos I'm under the weather too - I've got a sore throat but not a cold although bit of coughing - very strange. Had a few CRAFT moments today - 1st one was washing machine - did 2 loads no probs 3rd load water went in, water went out, machine didn't move an inch but went through cycle very quickly for a front loader, opened door and stuff at top was dry, wet at the bottom. Switched everything off while I decided what to do next - do I ring Dave and say we need to go buy a new machine or maybe give it another try. Switched it all back on, set machine, water went in, nothing happened, water went out then next load of water in and hey presto machine kicked into gear and washed like it should - what the....... Let's hope things are better tomorrow - have 2 more loads. Cooking lamb casserole tonight - getting ready to dish up and as I was tidying up about to throw packet mix into bin and guess what I hadn't used the b****y mix - put all the other ingredients in but not the mix - grrrrr - just swished it thru - tasted okay so all ended well but gee ........ 3C had her needle tonight - she is such a good girl at the v-e-t but don't let her in your toilet - she's a terror with the toilet paper -if it's not all over the floor it's shredded - I know she likes to play with the empty roll but just wish she's wait until we are at the end - pmsl Off to do more chores - the ironing keeps piling up so I'd better go do some or some people won't have shirts for work Catch y'all tomorrow Gwenda

Gosh you lot have been quiet today.. Lovely day today and tonight a little rain.. Took OH to the Hospital for tests today and it didnt solve the mystery..So a MRI is next..I have just about finished all the boxes,, only about 4 or 5 to go so that is so good. I am so tired and this cold is such a b....er that I am going to have a early night . Phone decided to not work and and so much to do before we have some Kiwi visitors in about a week. Good Morning Wattlers, Wow, I've had a great time reading up about the weekend meet, I'm green with envy. So pleased it went so well and everyone's back home safely. My weekend (feels like ancient history already!) wasn't quite as exciting, but good fun. DD15 had her belated birthday bash at last, a dozen kids walked home from school with her on Friday for icecream cake and other snacks (chicken wings, sausage rolls) then they walked downtown to a 7pm movie, and those that didn't get picked up from the theatre walked home again. All the lads had gone by 11 pm. leaving four girls sleeping over. They played darts and DD15 had a bucket and detergent and a few of those huge bubble wands out on the driveway. They were a lovely lot (most I know quite well by now) and they can come again any time - AND I didn't clean up a thing (they did) !! On Sunday OH and I drove to Melbourne and back to attend a trade show, left DD15 alone for first time all day, she was happy as, did her English assignment on Romeo and Juliet and walked to the IGA for food when my cupboards were bare ! Thank heavens for SMS - so reassuring. Should be quite week this week, I had an FH muddle to sort over the weekend when I discovered two sisters married the same bloke, I think I've sorted out the kids, looks like younger sister raised the big sisters little ones. Vonny I think you asked about how to sort your paperwork, well I started eight big binders one for each great-grandparent's family. I've added more binders where I've needed to when they got overloaded. Once a girl marries I stop recording her info as an offspring of her parents and put her life after marriage in with her husband. If she never marries she stays with her parents. I've also got a fan chart in front of every binder, highlighting the family referenced, to keep the direct lineages. But it's hard not to stray sideways lol. Lew take care at Brown Bros !! You've got a beaut day for it, watch Wattie doesn't go over his limit. DIY Judy I have a secret mental plan to come down your way and meet for lunch or similar, perhaps in Oct when DD15 is in Japan for 3 weeks. So save me an honourable Wattle keyring pretty please, we could meet up with Wilson and Jude 2 perhaps..... DD15 and I are going to Wangaratta next Friday night to see Importance of Being Earnest by the Wang Players. Should be fun. We did a bus ride around the city, when Barb gave me a plane flight as a birthday pressie a few years ago. She asked me to pick a place in Oz to visit for a day, so i said lets go visit ol Sydley town.We visited the Opera house, the Rocks,and walked along to Lady Macquarie's Chair.Took a cruise, and visited Centrepoint tower to get a great view. The other time we went was for the Sydley Olympics in 2000. Vonny...Lew. No probs guys, just swap. Hello Wattlers Gosh, seems I must come on this thread at the wrong time of the night, seems while Im on all you lot are elsewhere, and when I log on in the morning I see you have all been waffling to one another late at night, have to get my priorites right by the looks of it he he Hee Hee, DIY, Guess what, I GOT A BIG CUDDLE from KEN when I was leaving so there LOL, never mind about not changing tables Jude, we'll all be able to get together more when we visit Crewella in Mudgee next year, You are coming arent you? Morning Wattlers. Well, our Wattie has been very busy. He's done a tour of Bright and Wandiligong and today we're off the Milawa to Brown Bros. Wines. Tomorrow he's going to Mt Hotham. Tony mate, I think it's my turn for Lotto, but I don't have access to a scanner and won't be home until late Saturday night. Is there a chance I can swap with someone for this week please? Morning all, I gotta tell you wattlers, that this ere girl Princess DI(y) is nothing short of amazing! .. Not only is she a mum with a full time job, and a Wattler too (you know how much time that takes up) - and does family history - but she does the most exquisite patchwork quilting. .. We were lucky to see some photos of her work - and the detail that went into making those quilts is unbelievable! .. So one very very clever talented Wattler, we have. Tony I've been listening and soaking up all the information you've given me. .. That little verse you wrote is soooo true. Laurie - I didnt know you were into Feng Shui - and Im about to go and look at my toad - I bet he's sitting the wrong way! .. It was your darling sister who gave me my jade. ..I didn''t know they lost their leaves if not in the sun, and I'm afraid my Jade only get afternoon sun in summer, probably none in winter. .. I really thought some little insect had come along and had a feed. ... Think I'll have to put it back in a pot and move it around. I was going to go back to bed, but I am more awake now, so am up for the day. Love all Jood
