hello all, I'm very keen to come to Mudgee,oh wont be attending, but I asked a very dear friend of mine about it. (only if thats ok with you all)she is the kindest, loveliest person. also fond of fine wine and martoonies and the like.She has devoted a lot of time and effort on training me in th art of drinking without getting plastered. She hasn't been successful. Secret - if I had 1 more (=2) i would have been plastered in Sydney. i'll confirm the dates with her, otherwise i will come on my lonesome - which I don't have a major problem with. Hope you can wait for a few more days for my official commitment. Assessment went ok, real well actually, anatomy test out of the way so i'm going to be lazy tonight. I've decided I have to lose a couple of kilos - all my work clothes are rather snug, so no more goody cooking until it happens. off to finish tea. love Yvette x

Trifley I meant to keep a list of all those going to Mudgee (for my own use) - but was gonna and didnt!!!!, so thanks for the list, I have saved it now - it would be far too hard to go back that far in the thread to look for everyone's acceptance. I think in fact I am sure Lyn & Mick wanted a motel room too, and Yvette wanted to know the date, which I told her was 17 February 07. Laurie, Ray and myself (as far as I know) won't need motel accomodation. (that sounds like 20 peeps - oh, and what about Shaz & Rob - Lara & Mike, and Pam) . .. By the way, *I* am NOT organizing the Mudgee Meet, I'm just stickybeaking coz I wanna know who's going. .. pmsl Ooooh Lew - it will almost be like a family reunion .. lol. .. Lew, this girl has just woken up who Tez is .. pmsl Mary, honestly I dont know where you get your energy from !!! .. I guess you have an incentive, with visitors coming. Hi everyone Took back the boxes but still about 6 or 7 to go.. Have to unpack them as no place to store them, We couldnt get to the dining room table and the second bedroom was stacked high and as we have visitors next week I had to unpack them and get rid of them.. All jobs done today and tomorrow I am staying home to clean up and have a quiet day..first quiet day in weeks..luxury.... Vonny Dont worry about the ticket.. any day is a good day... I learnt to make springrolls last night and corn and chicken soup and fish in ginger sauce so lovely and we had fried rice again with ginger added to it too. We had a great night mostly ladies but one brave bloke last night . Good Morning All. I have not posted for a long time but I have a look every now and again. Here in Perth it is sunny but we have had rain and have been very cold. I feel like death warmed up with a sore throat and a runny nose. It is my day off as well. I must admit I never take time off or rarely from work. I just get sick weekends or holiday time!!!!! Afternoon wafflers . . . lovely sunny day on Botany Bay !! Thanks for your concern, I found my own pain relief yesterday, ICE !!! Numbs the darn thing completely - only thing is I will probably end up with frost bite on my shoulderblade . . . its a form of neuralgia, caused by the shingles - from the nerve damage caused by the ruddy disease years ago. I live with an under the skin tingley itchy thing, but every now and then it flares up and hurts. I'm OK - just working on the blocking out receptor! Gwenda, and all those with the dreaded lurgy, hope the bug goes real quick - drown the bugger . . . best remedy!! Got my fingers crossed for you Donna that all goes well with Dan in the new school. Kids . . . give us the greatest joy - and the biggest heartaches!!! So glad you getting some relief Trifley - Yaaahhhh you be able to swing that handbag around in no time at this rate! But I would hold off on the housework for a few years (teeehee) Mudgee is going to be massive - neice Colleen offered us the spare room for the occasion, double excitement for me as Col's bubby will only be about 5 months old then. I'm off to Archives in the morning, and only one request so far for a look up - will check mail before I leave in the morning if anyone else comes up with anything - dont be shy - I will have heaps of help out there. Afternoon Wattlers Gee the day has gone fast today and I still have a bit to do. Just popped in to say Hi will I have my sandwich. Well we will have to have fingers crossed for Tuesday lotto, as others have said, it may be lucky, and worth more this week. Tony have a great trip away. If the Ancestral Thylacine is a Tassie Tiger, then he is a very sneaky one cause usually they dont show theirselves where lots of people are floating about lol. That is for the ones who believe they are still alive. Mary you are taking boxes back to removalists and I picked some up today, thought better get started on packing the things we dont use often. Afternoon all, Thanks for being understanding about the ticket - I DID ask for Saturday's draw but the guy obviously had Tuesday on the brain and although I knew it was the wrong type I didn't know till I got home that it was the wrong day as well! Greetings Wattlers from a grey, overcast and cold and not so bright, Bright. Unfortunately, the snow was hopeless yesterday and Terry and Wattie didn’t stay up the mountain. Terry didn’t even take Wattie’s photo as he felt that Wattie was too dignified! Picked up Aunty after dialysis yesterday and took her for a nice lunch on a sundeck overlooking the Ovens River. She was a bit tired, but excited to going out for lunch. How’s all the sickies today? My throat is very sore, but I’m drinking lots of tea. Terry, Pauline and Chris are heading out to play Bridge, but I’m going to stay here and loll about like a lump. I see that the Mudgee Meet is getting bigger and better every day. Hello Wattlers Well Mudgee looks as if it's going to be a huge meet. So far we have 13 Wattlers staying at the motel. We can have a jamma party after we leave crew's place...pmsl. If you Google 'Country Comfort Mudgee' you will find their website. I sure with the large booking we should be able to get a good discount. So far we have.... Crew....don't forget to gargle with martoonies for that sore throat. I am amazed at the improvement in my arm since the acupuncture and Bowen. The soreness has improved and I have better movement in my elbow. There is still a way to go but it is much better. Morning Wattlers, another beautiful day in Melb although I think we had a bit of rain last night. Tony & Barb have a great time on Hayman,you should definately do a whale watching trip if you haven't done one before. Morning all.. Another beautiful day here today and still so much to do.. Today I have to go into Manly to get a cheque off the Real Estate Agent, Take back the boxes to the removalist people. and then finish unpacking the last 5 odd boxes. I spent half the night coughing and hope I survive the day.. Laurie Hope you are getting some relief from your pain,,Did you have shingles at one time. They are dreadful and not nice to get. I really feel for you ,, take care..and rest...Buy some Panamax from the Chemist for your pain.. Better than Panadol..and half the price.. Well better get going as I have lots to do.. Back later..
