Evening Wattlers, Thanks for the email trifley on Country Comfort. SuzyQ sorry to hear your not well, that sciatica is a bugger to have. Tony Hope the trip home was good, I was amazed at the prices to stay on Hayman, I think I will give that one a miss unless I can win one like Barb. Mary Glad you are relaxing and having a nice time with your visitors. All this talk of diets has made me want something sweet, mmm like chocolate, oh it's hard. Who was it it mentioned about the lemon /water every morning to kick start the liver, I brought some lemons today so am going to try it, I remember my Mum she always drank PLJ( pure lemon juice in warm water for years and her skin was lovely, no wrinkles until the day she died aged 88, but then again maybe it was the english climate that contributed to that.lol Well have had dinner now thinking of desert chocolate coverd strawberry's is what I fancylol Ok have a great evening see you tomorrow Cheers Sandra in the Gong

Hi Hz...<<<clap>> congrats to your daughter on getting the part. I think 'Theatre - drama' is good for kids and adults too. It lets them 'air' another side of their personality. It also helps encourage imagination. TX

Hello Wattlers, Each time I start writing a little ditty to post I get interrupted and four days later what I've written doesn't sound up to date anymore lol!! So (gentle) ((((hugs))))) to the unwell, poor Kathryn, sounds like she's got the lurgy DD15 had, time is the only cure. As for sciatica SusieQ, hubby gets it, it's awful, you poor dear take it easy. And with sinus trouble too - I ended up getting surgery for my sinuses, now I can breathe. I had polyps on my polyps. Trifley, you'll be opening a commercial kitchen at this rate, isn't Graeme wonderful - my mouth is watering from here ! Have you had to have another Bowen massage, or is your arm coming good. Lara I giggled away reading your post, so picturesque imagining the calories jumping all over you as you look in the Darrell Lea windows!!! Your lunch sounded great Laurie, I'm stuck with a steak and mushroom pie, it's that kind of day here, this morning's fog was thick thick thick. I was hoping to get to a family friend's funeral earlier this week but with staff sick or on leave I had to stay in town. DD14 got good a role in the Xmas play the lead's'ditzy girlfriend' - lots of clothes changes apparently. Now here is the Bathtub Test : (Be Honest) It doesn't hurt to take a good hard look at yourself from time to time, and this should help get you started. During a visit to the mental asylum a Family History nut asked the Director what the criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalised. 'Well,' said the Director, 'we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub.' 'Oh, I understand,' said the genealogist, ' a normal person would use a bucket becasue it's bigger that a spoon or a teacup.' 'No' said the Director. 'A normal person would pull out the plug. Do you want a bed near a window?' DId you pass or do you want the bed next to me? ~~~~~~Hz~~~~~~~

Afternoon Wafflers I've spent a lazy morning watching Graeme cook. He has worked his little fingers to the bone preparing his meals for work over the next 2 weeks. He now has beef & black bean and sweet & sour pork as well as the chicken casserole I made the other day. Everything is in containers and in the freezer....a days work well done. I contacted the Country Comfort today. I told them it was our FH group annual get-together. Those of you who put your names down as wanting to stay there should have received an email from me with tariffs etc. I thought about confirming the booking for everyone but my plastic would have melted and some of the names would have sounded a bit odd. Duffy Fluck, Fanny from the Harbour and Princess DIY to name a few PMSL If anyone else wants to stay there then send me an email and I'll bounce you the details. Hi SuzyQ....owww...sciatica....I can sympathise with that. I have a great little massager which would help with that.....that is...if you could prise it out of my hand. :-) Healing thoughts for you dear friend. Anna....give Katherine a hug for me. I hope she is feeling better soon. Crew....when we are on our way to Mudgee Graeme & I are going to stop in at Merriwa. I've never been there and would like to get some pickles. Laurie...smoked salmon....naaahhh...doesn't do much for me. But you enjoy. I think my caffeine level is getting low. i'll be abck. love Trifley X

G'Day, the name of that town Cassilisa is nice because it's both my girls names said together hehe cassi, lisa so won't forget that name in a hurry, Lew can you tell me what the Caravan Park in Mudgee is like please? Lovely day here today sunny slight breeze and gorgeous going to take some photos at the beach and will pop them on gc photos later. Have anybody seen this web site quite interesting nobody of mine there though except Mei Quong Tart who gave my great grandmother the silver locket http://www*adb*online*anu*edu*au/adbonline*htm of course replace * with the dots ,its the site for Biography's of prominent Australians who died before 1980 . Suzy take care of your self and some one mentioned the other day about Rawleighs Ready Relief it's great Suzy for sinus headache put teaspoon in bowl that will take boiling or near water and pop towel over the head and breathe deep come out from under the towel now and then and keep eyes closed should really help relief headache, I take Telgfast with the first sign of sinus as the headache it brings on is dreadful but it also could be coming from your back too Suzy as that and my neck which I put out all the time with falling asleep if I don't sit with neck cushion around the neck all the time I drop asleep so quickly after my meds start working off about 7pm unless I take extra tablets so fixing back might fix headache too any way whatever the cause thinking of you and hope you better soon . Have been pretty good re eating (not dieting )no no just eating sensibly , plenty of almonds couple everytime I think of it and huge glasses of water , protein powder and rice cakes with cottage cheese and tomatoe and cucumbers , stir fry for dinner and peaches and yoghurt for dessert could hardly call it a diet eh pmsl seem to do nothing but eat, and I'm sure when some peeps see me they think thats all I do most of the time when it's always been the opposite when I started weight watchers many years ago I couldnt eat the amounts of food they said to eat as my body was so used to me eating like a mouse trying to lose weight it was stuck in 'OMG she's trying to starve me mode' and it stored every bit of fat around even if went by some skinny person walking down the street eating big double header icecream all the fat from their icecream jumped on me when I walked past fish and chip shops cake shops and heaven forbid I walked past a Daryl Lee (sp) shop pmsl my girl friend used to say just say 'this is weightwatchers before you eat whatever you want and your brain will be fooled pmsl didn't work like I said been eating Spec K for years and am going to sue if I don't start looking like the woman on the ads soon must go time for me water again and then have to eat again NO REST FOR THE WICKED bye love to all Lara

Suzy Q you poor thing, either the back or the sinus is tough on its own without having both at once. Take care and use a heat pack for the back and wash the sinus out with saline solution. Tassie ...Hamilton Is is only as expensive as Hayman if you want it to be. There is a fish & chip shop, pizza shop, hotdog stand and reasonable restraunts if you dont want to go to the 'toffy' places, there is also a grocery store. Afternoon Wattlers, Well we have got a sunny but cool day here today, it rained most of yesterday and the night before, but forecast is for fine days up to Saturday at least, crossing fingers it stays that way as AFL is back in town. I got the mail out of letterbox today and our tickets for the footy have arrived. Guess what we are sitting in the front row of cheersquad. So if any of you get the footy on tv on Saturday and happen to be watching it, just keep a look out for 2 girls and myself sitting in the front row, left hand side of the Hawks cheersquad section as you see it on your tv. Well done Vonny on another winner, maybe we should all just send you our money and get you to put the tickets on each week lol. Tony welcome home, didnt realise how expensive it is over there, is it the same on Hamilton???? As my parents went there back in June, they didnt mention if it was dear or not. Ok better get back to doing more scanning, I obtained a few photos and info from another family member so I copied it to disc but I thought I would also print out a copy of the pics, so I have them, just incase something happens witht he ones saved on puta or disc. Cheers Sue

hi lew laurie jood sandra mary. and the rest that pop in and out. (update ) and jude I've been listening to my epidemiology lecturer online. its break time really interesting stuff, and the lady who does it is fabulous. I think she is dutch, great collector of info. like us before I went out I checked archives again. I quite like that site, 'cause they keep adding more. does anybody go to the reading rooms? in the break at the end of the year I'de love to go - can we have a 'wattlers excursion' there? anybody keen. maybe we could incorperate historic place of interest and reading room. I would be keen to do rookwood cemetry if anybody else would like that, mid/end november. or wattlers version of mall crawl. exercise with history. when I went to sydney in the hols. we did the barracks, crime and justice, a bit of the rocks and maritime boats. that was exhausting because of the walk distance and the mental toll of all the stuff we saw. really enjoyable though. we could use some public transport too, or minimise the area covered , with lunch and afternoon tea as predetirmined rests. have had my 10 mins. ergonomic break, back to listening. I pop in every now and then if I don't have to add notes love Yvette x

Morning Wattlers, Mary, while you're wandering around Darling Harbour keep an eye out for my OH, he is measuring up some new shops there. He will be the one in jeans and t shirt and very short greying hair; probably crawling around on the floor...lol Vonny, we should get you to buy tickets more often, well done!! Tony & Barb are not going to be happy when they get in this arvo, its decidedly chilly and looks like rain in Melb at the moment. I have to confess to making a bit of a fool of myself yesterday...lol I tried to use my visa to book some flights for work and it was declined. Thinking Roy must have used it in Sydney I went to the bank to transfer some money into it and the ATM says I have plenty of credit.....so I march into the bank and demand to know why I couldnt use the card when the machine says I have credit. The lady behind the counter checks'Yes there's credit, I'll ring the city office' 'were you trying to book tickets?' 'yes' ' well aparently you entered a date valid to 2005.'.......I was so embarassed, I apologised to the lady behind the counter and got out of there real quick...pmsl Lunch time, back later Flakey
