Evening all :) had an interesting afternoon. Daughter locked herself and grand d out of the house so I had to go over and take my key. So I ended up going shopping with them. Nice afternoon. I am going to borrow her gym equipment as they have no room for it and she is going to write me my own program - that's what her degree was in - Exercise Science!! I figure if we are all joining www then I had better get started. Hz, the Metcalfs are all in their nice little folder and I have some pictures that my cousin sent which, when put together with your info, don't quite add up BUT I am having a break from FH until I get my spare room organised as I just can't spread out in the family room and I need s-p-a-c-e :) I am losing stuff and forgetting where stuff is. Yvette, I do hope you have more commitments to your program. I must admit I turned pale at the price of the Motel but John didn't seem to mind. I guess it will be our last luxury before 4 months of camping!!!! That's how I'm justifying it anyway :) Got the extra lotto numbers - just have to get to a scanner tomorrow arvo probably. The bit left over went towards a daffy - I reckoned that you would all approve :) Beginning to plan our trip down the Murray - Lara, where will you be next March????? hee hee. Oh, I haven't introduced Rodney (Norfolk Dumpling). He is a genuinely nice guy who was practically my first contact on GR when I was a very green newbie over a year ago and gave me tons of help to get started. He knew me on Chat for about 6 months, even before I changed my name :) and when I didn't even know General existed. Afternoon Wattlers. Damn cold and raining in Mulbin...:>((( Take me away P&O...lol Shazz. Your dead right mate, our travelling days are over for a while, as i just bin sitting here looking at what we did and spent this last 12 months. Still, it was good while it lasted...lol In the last twelve months we have done our fair share. Singapore,England,Wales,Ireland,Singapore...........then...... Singapore,Scotland,Paris, London,Singapore and Hayman Island ( Q.L.D )in one year,and Barb did the U.S.A California (Anaheim ) with Sarah, and also Gold Coast within that year, so its time for a holiday in Malbin. Its renovation time for us for the next 12 months. Going to add on a his & hers walk in robes by extending the front bedroom out 2 metres. Will do most of the internal work myself. Plastering,Tiling,Painting and internal carpentry. Our house was built in the late 30s ( Weatherboard ) and originally an 11 square home in those days.Small homes built on very large blocks, when big backyards were the go. Barb bought it on her own ( as an investment ) in 1980. Then sold her Kilsyth home and moved in, to be closer to her Salon's. She then added 9 squares to her home. When i moved in with my 4 kids i renovated the kitchen,turned the old passageway's into an en suite, then added another 8 squares and a very large decking. Then i worked on the old Barn/Garage and turned it into her hairdressing Salon, but there is still a bit more that can be done to it, without over capitalizing. No more moves for us. This is my 4th and last home, and we have no intention to sell. Laurie. ((((Hugs))))) to Hz, Yvette & Donna Hz - glad you're okay - not a good way to start your arvo off Donna - feel for you - unfortunately as parents we don't know what goes on in our kid's heads - hopefully one day and soon for your sake things will work out. Thinking of you - whinge away anytime you want - better to get it off your chest than let it build up too much. Yvette - I don't know how you manage what you do - you're always so on the go - don't overdo it tho Well it's cold, wet and miserable looking but I'm not complaining well only about it being cold - lol I've cooked one meal for my boys while I'm away - will do some more next week to get them thru 3 weeks without me. Probably come home to half of it still in the freezer but at least my intentions will have been good. Tomorrow night's tea has also been cooked so when I get in from work tomorrow providing darling son isn't hogging net I might be able to catch up without feeling too guilty - oh to h*ll with it why should I feel guilty - pmsl Tassie - being the nosy cow that I am - well if you want answers in FH it's a taken - your new house isn't one of the sold properties on RealEstate*com*au is it - there's a couple of very nice looking places I wouldn't mind moving into? Good luck with the packing - I'm probably the only person here saying 'wish it was me' - only so I could get rid of some of the c**p we have accumulated. Shazz & Jood - thank you for son's birthday wishes - might get out for dinner next week but at least I was able to whip up a choccie cake for when he got in from work. Eeeeeek Bummeeeeerr - just got home via food shop - happened to be behind stoopid driver who turned right from the left hand lane in front of me and got collected by the driver coming up beside me on the right - whacko !! I keep a sheet in my glove box about details you need in case of accident, so was able to stop and give them both a copy and leave my details in case they need a witness. The lady in the wrong just phoned me and I had to confirm she was not in the correct lane to turn right!! I think she was confused in the rain and all. OK, I'm all right now, have planned next two nights meals, just about to go through freezer while upacking grockeries, then I can enter the dreaded spare room and attempt to tidy it up. Still raining here !! :)) Hz

How nice to miss Mudgee because you will be in Europe, Jill !! Lew it's fine about last week I was a bit tied up anyway and probably couldn't have got to Bright. Hope you are on the mend now. What are you reading this week? I love to hear what people are reading 'cos then when I finally get around to a book I can choose something that has been recommended. I keep meaning to buy myself a copy of Lark Rise to Candleford, it was my Mum's fave book and I read it so long ago, now I feel the urge to reread it. I've just finished Catcher in the Rye, I'll give it to DD15 when she's finished Big Brother - I mean, 1984. I like talking books to her. Shazz, my DD has microphone and headphones and chats to people but I don't know how !!! I use her headphones to listen to the radio on the computer cos I can listen to old ABC programs that I miss otherwise, and don't wake anyone up ( my best computer hours are v early morning esp in summer). Guess what it's noon and I'm going HOME !! It's the first time in ages we have full staff and are all caught up - let me out of here. nearly lunch time. it was raining this morning so went out early to remove 6 lines of clothes, now have to stick it back out again. have been out doing essential stuff so didn't go to uni. have to go there shortly and juggle the afternoon playing catch up. My life gets to be so much of a mess sometimes that what I need to do is just sit here and waffle. possum is just overwhelmed with working normal hours, he's not doing much more than work, sleep, eat, with the occasional walk the pooch. some of the offspring too are not in the good books with me either, so have managed to yell without screaming. b****y kids. have read 'them' the riot act in no uncertain terms i hate admitting this, but i will have to wait a bit to book my room. need the guilt attack people to make a 'larger' commitment to my classes. (they are the ones making my vocation, my vacation) oo suzi, i've had sciatica too, not nice at all and its so draining. be lovely to yourself. sorry about the moan, but thanks for the balloons. love Yvette x
